Prior to selecting Rockwall for my mothers long term care needs I had heard various review. However, after touring the facility and seeing all of the remodeling and upgrades I was thoroughly impressed. The facility was Oder free and the staff all seemed engaged with the patients. The admission process was simple and easy to understand and my mother has really enjoyed the environment.

So many things happened here... 1. My dad was promised a certain room and placed in a completely different one. 2. Staff wouldn't give him his night medicine; wasn't until 4am that they finally gave it to him. 3. There are cockroaches EVERYWHERE. 4. When he would ring his nurse call button at night for help to the bathroom, no one came. He had to go on his own which was a huge risk of him falling. 5. Most of the staff will place blame on others instead of taking accountability. I highly suggest going to a different facility for your family members.

Great staff the building is older but the staff is great. The maintenance men Gregg and Brian fixed everything my mom needed in a timely manner. The administrator is responsive and it’s a great environment.

11/5/22. Robin, Alvin, Vanessa, Rose, Laura and my sister’s CNA: these six people continue to be assets to the continued success of this nursing care center. Even though residents may be admitted, if they are not looked after properly, which these individuals do, then they will not be happy. These specific individuals are always friendly and say hello when I encounter them on my visits to the care center. They more than make up for the “unfriendly” staff I do encounter. Susan is happy with the friendships she has made. So I will continue to give this care center a thumbs up. 4/19/22. It is almost one year since my sister moved in to the Rockwall Nursing Care Center. I still have to give this facility a high rating because my sister is very happy where she is given the circumstances. Robin, the administrator, is absolutely fantastic. She is always willing to assist me in going that extra mile and ensuring that my sister is being well cared for. Vanessa, the activities director, is an extremely caring person and my sister just loves her. Then, my sister has become good friends with two of the long-term residents at RNCC. They look out for each other. 8/11/21. Three months ago today my sister became a resident at Rockwall nursing care Center. She is very happy there. She has settled in very well. The facility still manages to impress me in terms of how clean it is. The staff is very courteous to my sister at all times. Today is 6/3/21. I want to let anyone know who may be looking for a care facility for their loved one to check out Rockwall Nursing Care Center on Storrs Street in Rockwall. I moved my sister from a care facility in Virginia to Texas almost one month ago. I chose Rockwall Nursing Care Facility after looking at several other options over the course of several months. RNCC, n my estimation and experience with the one in Virginia, is far superior to any of the other facilities. It is light and cheerful. It is clean and seems well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Sadie is very knowledgeable and answered our questions in timely fashion. She is still a big asset to me and I know she will be going forward. Genee is so cheerful and Alvin is the best. The nursing staff, so far, has been very attentive to my sister’s needs. I have enjoyed visiting my sister and meeting the other residents. I feel my sister is much happier here, and I am only ten minutes from her. I plan to review monthly going forward.
