There is no security here. Cars are broken into and stolen. Stone oak in general has a high crime rate. Recently one resident assaulted his wife and was arrested. It seems like a good place to park your parents but it is not a place for someone who actually requires assistance. We will be leaving when our lease is up just like many others. Some neighbors had their roof leaking every time it rained. To the point the sheet rock was sagging, management did nothing so they were able to get out of their lease thank God. Run away from this place !
RUN AWAY from this place! Pretty on the outside, ugly inside when you move in and really live there. If you are thinking about living here or your elderly parents are please don't do it. The management of this place is awful. Greystar has bought this complex and it is in the toilet. The walls have holes in it behind the cabinets that allows bugs and other horrid things including smells of the food your neighbor cooks on the daily to seep through. It is marketed as a non-smoking facility but they allow everyone to smoke so it invades your apartment causing health issues and all your items…
It is marketed as a non-smoking facility but they allow everyone to smoke so it invades your apartment causing health issues and all your items smell like cigarettes and turns yellow. They are condescending to the elderly residents and it is a 55+ facility. It touts all these activities as an active living community and it is all smoke and mirrors. It was a great place to live before GreyStar purchased it. Also they will raise your fees annually by hundreds and the devil is in the detail of their 40+ page rental agreement.
