This is not a rehab center they sit the patients in wheelchairs for the 20 days that medicaid pays for, then send them home. No physical therapy is done. They don't make sure patient is taking any of their necessary medications. My mother was there for a month, I never once saw and physical therapy, speech therapy or anything being performed. There's not even any equipment for strength to get patients strength back. As soon as the 20 days were up they were in a rush to send my mother home. Despite me saying hey before this my mom could walk now she can't. They then partnered with what seems to be the owners side business or friend who does the home health visits. I was told a nurse would come 3 times a week for an hour. One nurse came out to her vitals and left. They then sent a CNA out who did not speak English to help bathe and change her catheter. (Which by the way the 20 days she was in there was never changed). My mom came home for a week and is already back in the hospital for a UTI and still unable to walk or hold a conversation. Now that they burned her 20 days she has to be home for 60 days before she eligible for therapy again. This is a scheme for the owner to get paid by Medicaid and the in house therapy is definitely part of it. I would not recommend this place for your loved one. If you think I'm lying if you have a family member there, just observe and look around no one is in a room working with a patient on walking, talking just nothing. They're probably sitting in a wheelchair in their room or in front of the TV.

This is a good home for you physical therapy my grandma came home much better than she was I’m very great full for this team. They keep you updated the whole time and Ms.Mary helped me find the link to leave this place my good review. I would recommend this place to friends and family

I wanted to post a review of Sharpview because I did a tour of the facility for a loved one who was about to be discharged from St. Luke's CHI downtown Houston. I found it to be clean and orderly with the majority of thier employees having many years of experience there. My loved one was there just over 2 weeks for rehab and at the end of his time there, was much improved physically. He arrived underweight, weak and unsteady. Unable to walk from being bedridden for over a month. He left there having gained weight and able to walk on his own without a walker! He absolutely loved the food! He talked to me about it everyday. He looked forward to every meal! 😁🍴I would highly recommend! In fact, if I need the services of a skilled nursing facility, I'd want to go there myself!🥰Thanks to all the staff there for taking such great care of him!🫶

I would like to say my experience at Sharp view was wonderful. I’m leaving today. I wanna give a shout out to the kitchen. The food was fantastic and I love those grits. Also, second floor had the best activity staff going up and down making sure we were OK and we would like to thank each and every one of you nursing for what you’ve done and I hope God bless you all and hopefully I won’t be coming back.

Very impressed with the upper management at Sharpview. They are in constant contact with me regarding my family member. Whether it’s in regards to a consent for treatment or suggestion for care, they keep me well informed. The staff are always friendly and provide great care to my family member. I’m always reminded that if there is anything that I think is needed, that I inform them so that they can facilitate that happening. I chose Sharpview as I researched them (and other facilities) on the Medicare.gov website. My family member was previously at another facility before Sharpview and only wished I had found Sharpview first as I was looking to get him moved anyway. The care and attention he’s received at Sharpview is far superior to where he previously resided.

My name is Miss Barbara at Sharp view. I want to think the staff was such a wonderful memorial day celebration. We had a wonderful meal from the dietary department and we had a fantastic Memorial Day party with Deborah and activities and her staff. Thank you you for being so kind to us. Have a great holiday.

Very nice to patients and family 😊.
