I cannot express with mere words how much of a blessing Sorrento has been to my mother and to the family. The care my mother receives is beyond reproach. The support the family receives to help our understanding of her condition and to help us when we ask to learn how to care for her is the finest example of care and teaching I have seen. Every single person, from Housekeeping all the way up to the Administrator is professional, knowledgeable, supportive, ready to answer any question we have, and patient with Mama and with us, the family. Kindness and understanding are integral in every single thing that we encounter. The calm demeanor from the Administrator, Department Heads, and every single person I encounter helps reassure us all that my mother is being cared for exactly as I think everyone wants their loved one cared for. This place is a true blessing.
There are a lot of hard workers in this building. The extra amenities are nice and help with comfort and feeling closer to home. The court yards offer a safe place for your loved one to get fresh air with some nice landscaping. The Administrator Britt is great! As well as the nursing team with Don Frank are exceptional.
It is well nice kept clean. Friendly environment. My tia Amelia Villarreal is taken care very well. She is now seating up on the recliner and eating her three meals day. Tia was very active a while back in years. She hand green thumb growing plants. She worked in West Texas for many years. She raised to kids and granddaughter Kayla at 2yrs. She it a wonderful tia use. She came to house every weekend too. Visit to make caldo or menudo etc. She liked to shopping a hobby lobby & Michael store. She did India crafts. She was a happy person & helped everyone. I love my tia, she's like a grandma to…

The staff is very rude tell you one thing turn around and change what they tell you. I am talking about the people at the office, case managers, cordinators .
The Executive Director, Rita, was so nice and helpful! I highly recommend this nursing home.
I rarely write reviews, but the level of care provided here warrants public notice. The facility demonstrated a troubling failure to appropriately care for an elderly resident. My husband’s grandmother developed pneumonia, yet staff declined to transfer her to a hospital and instead attempted to manage the condition in-house. Her condition deteriorated significantly. Ultimately, her family was forced to call 911 themselves, at which point she was admitted to the ICU in critical condition. This incident was not isolated, but rather the most serious example in a pattern of inadequate care and poor judgment. Families seeking rehabilitation or long-term care for an elderly loved one should carefully consider alternative facilities. Additionally, the pattern of short, similarly worded positive reviews raises concerns about their authenticity. Update, she never left ICU…
Wonderful staff, especially Mrs. Brenda Padron, she was super helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
Being in this industry takes a lot emotionally but Frank M (DON) takes his time and makes you feel comfortable and is extremely accommodating. His customer service is top notch and unfortunately that is a trait most people are loosing.
