Missy Dyer went above and beyond in helping me throughout the process of placing my parents at this outstanding assisted living facility. She and her staff have consistently shown support, compassion, professionalism, and made my family feel safe, comfortable and most importantly, valued. If you are considering a 5-star facility for yourself or a loved one, look no further than Southern Wind Manor!

I recently had to move my Dad into assisted living, and in doing so I wanted to assure myself that I doing the right thing. I know now I made the BEST move ever for most importantly my Dad!! He’s my Hero. I feel extremely fortunate to have found Southern Manor. From the very first day, Missy and her staff made my Dad feel like he was at home. Staff, exception, food outstanding, accommodations, services down to keeping the rooms cleaned, cloths washed, simply amazing. All of which is feedback from my Dad, he’s happy, and at 101 years old, he deserves the best!! I found it !! Thank you Southern…

They take care of my mom and I am pleased. My mom is confined to her bed at this time and unable to participate in activities, but they make sure that she is visited when there are special things happening during holidays. Mom loves the staff and they love her too.
Best assisted living around. Staff is the best!!
My mother will be moving into Southern Wind Manor. It was affordable, but also it's a smaller community and more of a family atmosphere and we liked that. Everything is well cared for. They have renovated everything including the floors and they've painted, so it's very clean looking. It's not super modern, but it is very nice. They have a person who gives them showers once a week. They have a beauty salon there. They asked us to eat there and their food was really good. They have a full-time nurse on staff, and they have a doctor that comes in once a week. It's a family-owned facility, so the guy that runs it is the son of the owner. The full-time nurse also takes care of a lot of things and so we talked with both of them, and they were very helpful. You can tell they care a lot about what goes on there. We liked them a lot.

I went to Southern Wind Manor. It was lovely, the staff was very accommodating, very nice, and the rooms were lovely. They had a very nice room set up for medical online consultations and psychiatric consultations, but there was no pool. I only met 2 of the staff members and they were very accommodating. It's right across the street to the public library, and I think reasonably close to the hospital.
