The Staff here seem very caring. Very clean

Always a joy to work with the folks here at SPJST. Great ambiance and exceptional care. Worked today witha staff member named Leslie R, and she was kind and very helpful.

If I could give this place no stars I absolutely would, this place is horrible. The patients are being left to decay with no remorse, the healthcare workers here lack safety, and healthcare precautions. They also do not follow proper PPE precautions, so many viruses are being spread recklessly. The patients do not even receive proper hygiene, they will go weeks even months without a proper shower. If the patient has wounds just know they will only getting deeper and filled with infections because they barely even check on them. If I could give this place no stars I absolutely would, this place is horrible. The patients are being left to decay with no remorse, the healthcare workers here lack safety, and healthcare precautions. They also do not follow proper PPE precautions, so many viruses are being spread recklessly. The patients do not even receive proper hygiene, they will go weeks even months without a proper shower. If the patient has wounds just know they will only getting deeper and filled with infections because they barely even check on them. The place is always short staffed, it’s always 1 person having to maintain 2 halls. The nurse on the floor “Elmo” is what I call her will shove medication in patients mouth without giving proper education to the patient about what they are even taking. To make matters worse she won’t even monitor the patient for any adverse effect from said medication. Long story short if you love your family like you say you do you wouldn’t bring them here to enjoy the rest of their days.

My mom and aunts went to visit their cousin at SPJST in Needville and they were very impressed by the facility cleanliness, and care given to residents. God Bless management and all staff.

I use to work here and my grandma was at another facility…after working here and comparing how everything ran and how things ran where my grandma was I called my uncle and told him he need to get grandma to SPJST she has been here years now and we have no regrets

SPJST the best in long term care other than other non profit catholic homes. Was very impressed with how the residents were treated by caring staff.
