My sister lived at Stonebridge for 5 or 6 years and during her stay she went unresponsive twice from her blood pressure dropping too low and the reason this was happening was because they were giving her the same medicine twice a day meaning the prescription was filled twice so she was taking this medication four times in a day and no one caught it at the house. It took me talking to a nurse at the hospital and she decided to investigate because she saw she kept coming in and out of the hospital during this time because she would be lethargic. When I moved my sister out of Stonebridge Ms. Rebecca kept her bank card, social security card, photo ID, birth certificate, the money she had in her account and her insurance card and she cut off all communication with the family, so beware before you let your love one live at Stonebridge because Ms. Rebecca is not as compassionate and worthy as she pretends to be. Oh, I forgot to mention the phones never works meaning it's always going to voicemail which is Rebecca's and you can't talk or check on your loved one unless she decides she is going to turn the ringer on it's always a storm causing the phone to always be going to voicemail. From my experience Stonebridge is not the place for anyone's loved ones if you care about their well being.

I have lived with the Stonebridge family for many years. I like living here because the owner listens to the people that live here. There have been a few employees over the years that weren't so great & when I and some other residents told the owner, that person no longer was employed here. Ms. Walker cares about how we feel and has our best interest in mind. My housemate helped me post this, thanks Mel!

My son Jeremiah has lived at Stonebridge for 5 years and overall it’s been a wonderful experience. I feel like he’s well taken care of and he’s safe. He attends residential treatment Monday - Friday at Lonestar, gets individual and group counseling, he’s taken to his doctors appointments, given his meds, provided a safe and clean environment to live. As a parent of a mentally I’ll adult child it takes the worry, stress and burden off of me. I’m so thankful Stonebridge has provided the care he needs and deserves.

Found a resident Tuesday morning walking down street in shirt and very wet depends and 2 different shoes. No pants or jacket and it was 38 degrees at 830am. Called 911 and then some man in bulk SUV showed up saying he was son and took him. This facility has bad rep in community.

Alright.

love how the good posts are workers, a ninty year old man that can not even text!!!! This place is very shady, all the residents families pay different amounts. One woman, Debra pays @ $700 a month. Another, Michelle's family pays @ double what my family did. Which was $1200. She writes out receipts, even for items she(Mrs. Walker) buys the clients...to tell the family it was double the price! She tells people she should be the payee of the client, and says it's too difficult but "it will get done later." I took a pregnancy test and it showed positive, I then found out I could leave if that was the case. I had to, I was dying. Physically. I'm on treatments now IVIG (Gamunex-c)and light chemo...you think they cared? Nope. How many times did I say I was hurting. I was sick and hurting.we had a guy (phillip)pass out and lose conscience FROM THE FLU!! She tried saying I was "blatantly lying" about taking pills. Why didn't you just test me? Because you would have looked stupid. Just like you saying "I like Becky, it makes me sound like a white lady, and people are more likely to trust me." WOW, you realize..yes you have unstable people there, BUT ALL are not incapacitated. You act like you knew us when family was around, BUT your workers even need to be treated better. They are miserable, so in turn they resented us and you. You had a few, like two good ones. What your workers did to Patrisha was completely uncalled for and disgusting! Who treats human beings like this. TREAT PEOPLE AS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!!! I woke up with a bed bug in my ear, next week marks on my arm. Then bc of your lack of care, we had to dispose of everything we have(Which is NOT A LOT). Being at your place was like purgatory, and I feel so bad for everyone there. Then telling me my friends medical issues behind closed doors, an 15 mins later saying you didn't say it. All lies, huh? Telling me about Sergio, Michelle...you didn't? I bet I could tell their story....I guess with not even knowing their stories right? Your husband drinking and working. Just walking in on women changing..telling you to tell me he likes my tattoo. I had my pants off when he saw it. AND I TOLD YOU THIS!!!! What did you do? Nothing!! How WERE we suppose to trust any of you. My entire giant box of product was stolen. You did nothing!! We got ten dollars a week. All sick people do is smoke cigarettes and drink coffee. So we all got ONE entire pack a week AND many people had to use this to get personal items. We stole tampons, bc we couldn't get them. We weren't allowed to call home and ask for anything. I lost my house....everything. It seemed like you wanted it to go bad bc then you told me to go close mine and my Xs banking. When I did we had $151 in the bank and I got $75 of it. The paid $35 in gas to take me to see my boyfriend. Who's life I completely destroyed bc I had to get away from YOU AND THIS PLACE!! And there is a person trying to leave once a week!!! Police involved. If you say it's a lie and these neighbors watch, you are the only one WE KNOW is lying!! Your favorite, Remember, the last month you guys took my pillow and blanket. Reese had to give me towels. Anyhow, I'm your favorite VERY SINCERELY, KANDI P.S. Someone should totally write a piece about shady independent living. I went to two other houses.....they were awesome. They had rules we abided by, and had no issue. We all helped each other, and THAT is structured independent living!!!! Rene's House is AWESOME!! She treats everyone like a big family. She cooks homemade for us. Ojonika is another good house. We all had actual fun, and weren't a bunch of zombies!!! 😨😰😵😱

This place is horriable. The people that work here are not processional I was told about this place to help someone i consider family(son) to get help at the moment that i was in desperate need, do to my other son being diagnosed with MS. Oh yes they were so nice once they new he was coming there. But once they new he left me messages an i went to see him an seen he was not doing any better an wanted to come back home. Well the tables turned. I gave them his 30 day notice. An now they are saying he does not want to talk to me. If i have legal documents stating im his parent then they will let me talk. So now they will not even give me the new address they moved him to. After me stating i think i need an officer check on him. Khissa went ghetto on me. Now they have blocked my number. People please don't take your loved ones here. Its about money. Nice until you want to move them closer. Taking advantage of mental illness is the only answer i can come up with. They need to be shut down.

They care about the people and family
