I highly recommend Sundale Senior Living of The Woodlands. Andrea Torres and her entire team have modeled compassion and excellence in their care and communication practices. I highly recommend Sundale Senior Living of The Woodlands. Andrea Torres and her entire team have modeled compassion and excellence in their care and communication practices. My Mom and her husband have been at Sundale for almost a year. They first moved to Assisted Living but transitioned to Keepsake Gardens memory care after about six months due to my mother’s cognitive decline. My Mom comments frequently on how the environment is clean, the food is good, and the caregivers are at-the-ready to assist with any need that arises. They are both very content. I was well-informed about Sundale by meeting several times with Roman Salas, the Director of Sales & Marketing. Roman was very responsive to all my questions and helped me navigate the onboarding process. Everything was new and there was a steep learning curve, but Roman’s patience and guidance made the process less overwhelming. Cristina Da Silva, the Resident Care Coordinator, and Ramona Cooper-Ford, the Resident Care Director, continue to be instrumental in managing the care needs of my Mom and her husband. They always listen to my concerns, provide helpful suggestions, and follow through on any action items we identify. Their support was keenly felt when my step-father was in the hospital and rehab for an extended period of time and my mother remained at Sundale. In addition, I have nothing but accolades for Windy Whipple, the Activities Director in Assisted Living. She is lively, engaging, and works extremely hard to include all the residents in a variety of activities. Sundale is also to be commended for its investments that enhance the safety and emergency preparedness of the community. A new generator system was recently installed that provides increased capacity and enhanced reliability, allowing Sundale to better support its residents and operations during any future power outage. The elevators have also been replaced and upgraded. Another significant investment in the community worth mentioning is the establishment of an in-house physical and occupational therapy services provider. Not having to leave the premises to receive PT and OT services is a huge benefit to residents. Now that my “folks” are in Keepsake Gardens, I have enjoyed meeting the new Director, Diego Diaz. He has proactively met with me in order to get to know my Mom, her husband, and any special care needs they have. The Keepsake Garden caregivers are hands-on, practical, and loving. They strive to provide the best care possible and treat each resident with kindness and dignity. One notable resource for family members and friends of those living in Keepsake Gardens is a monthly family education/support group. These supportive educational sessions are another way that Sundale distinguishes itself as a leader in the field. For these reasons and many more, I wholeheartedly recommend Sundale Senior Living of The Woodlands without reservation.

Great friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly and great staff. The food is absolutely delicious. Never have to worry about mom.

Mr. Maurice McKenzie is the Memory Care Director at Sundale. He has been a pleasure to work with and made my experience positive! He's very kind and caring. Mr. McKenzie goes beyond the call of duty to assist the residence and others. His work ethics are amazing. His actions and results are so clear and excellent that they need no further explanation; or promotion to demonstrate his ability or worth. A huge thanks to Mr. McKenzie!

I am a friend of the family of one of the residents at this facility. Since the new Director, Maurice McKenzie, has been in this position, I’ve noticed so many positive changes. The residents seem more engaged, staff seem happier and the overall facility has greatly improved. The leadership of Maurice has made a positive impact on the memory care department.

I want to say that I had the experience to see Mr. McKenzie care for patients and go above and behind with face with challenges. I was there on a tour to see if this facility would be good for my love one. I'm going to spread the word to my family and friends.
