Tender Living Care is amazing! I would have never found it without Senior Advisor. The owner of TLC is made for this. Every time I visit there’s delicious food cooking or fresh baked goodies. The residents are always dressed and obviously very well cared for and attended to. The house is amazingly clean. There is a beautiful. Back porch that overlooks the woods. The covered patio had tables and chairs where we sit on nice days. My VERY opinionated Mother-in-law has had nothing negative to say! That’s saying something! When she arrived she was 90 lbs and thought she needed a nursing home. We moved her to TLC and she is back up to her normal weight (really good food!). The staff is very understanding and we are blessed to have found them!

My mom loves this place because it feels like home and all the friendly staff. Can’t beat daily home cooked meals Great environment

Upbeat, caring owner and staff...highly recommend TLC.

The Tender Living Care was a very nice place. When we moved my mother in they had remodeled and the community looked good. The care was well as [Removed] provided us with great guidance, but they could not provide the level of care that my loved one needed.

I have my mother living there and I am very happy with the care she's receiving. Staff is very caring with my mother and her needs as an elderly person. Very clean facility and all meals are cooked daily, I even ate there a few times. If you like a home like environment this is it. I would recommend Tender Living Care to any elder persons looking for a quiet and comfortable place to live in.

First impression was that this was a clean, friendly and caring environment. We mentioned that our mom liked to stay busy and would enjoy being in the backyard or working in a garden. The director said that this sounded great and they could possibly even get her some work boots. But after moving in we were told that she needed to be medicated to keep her activity level down. Staff always stayed close during visits. It was as if they wanted to see if mom might say something negative. We were told that our mom would need to move out because they didn't have the ability to care for residents that were moving about during the day. And, when we asked for a refund of our deposit, we were told that this was a fee paid to A Place For Mom and we could not receive any refund. This place started as a dream, but ended as a nightmare.

My mother was in Tender Living Care for three weeks. It was near where I lived. It was a group home, and I thought this will be better than a facility. I visited, and everything seemed very lovely. The owners had been out of town, and they started running it themselves again. I talked to them, they said I can bring my mother over, and I would just have to do a $500 down deposit. We got there Sunday night to get mother into this place. We sat down to sign papers, and now it's not just the $500; it's $1500. I'm in a predicament; I have my mother and all of her stuff, it's late at night, and now they've gone up $1000. I paid the money upfront to be able to get mother in that night. The next day, I went over to see how she was, and she seemed a bit out of it. The lady said she's been a little bit unruly, and they had to give her a little bit of such and such. Then, she started talking to me about putting mother on hospice. A few days went by, I went to check on mother again, and she said mother is just impossible. She won't go to bed at 7:00, and everybody had to be in bed by 7:00. I said my mother has never gone to bed at 7:00. She said they're just going to give her more sedatives. I went out and checked on her again, and mother was crawling on the floor. She couldn't even walk. They had her so drugged again. I took her straight to the hospital. She was drooling. She couldn't eat. The food was not good. The place was cramped and old. The only thing I could say is they had a decent place to park. There was nothing I loved. The owners were ugly to the clients, and they yelled at them. They had them scared to even say anything. They were cheap. They were liars. They took money. They wouldn't refund any of my money to me.
