My parents moved to the independent living side of The Delaney in 2018. My dad passed away in 2020, and my mom continued living independently there until recently, when she transitioned first to assisted living and then to memory care. Throughout each stage, the staff at The Delaney took excellent care of my mom. She was at the highest level of care in assisted living, and shortly after moving to memory care, she needed hospice care. The Delaney staff who cared for her along with the hospice staff during her final week were more than caring—they made sure her needs were met while treating her with compassion, dignity, and respect. I especially want to recognize Bobbie, the med tech, who gently stroked my mom’s hair after administering her medication, and Charles, who took the utmost care when assisting Mom. Those thoughtful gestures meant so much to our family. We also recently held my mom’s memorial service at The Delaney, and one of the staff members, Rob Sterk, provided a Christian service for our family. That was truly a step above and beyond, and it meant so much to us. We wanted a place where our parents could age in place, and that is exactly what The Delaney provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in a safe environment with engaging activities and caring support. We are grateful for the care, kindness, and respect shown to our family.

Every facility's shell is made up of brick and mortar. Every facility will have events for residents. When you dig a little below the surface, that's where you'll see how The Delaney's staff transforms their facility into a home. They create the environment that helps your loved one thrive. The actions of the staff, every single day, show a deep level of commitment toward maintaining a strong atmosphere of community and caring. The Delaney also has a well coordinated, integrated care model designed for flexibility. Not everyone needs the same level of service and care and The Delaney delivers by offering whatever level of service you need. Highly recommend this facility.
I’ve been playing music events at The Delaney for over 2 years now. The residents are a great group of folks who really enjoy the events. The staff is great and very attentive and engaging to both the residents and the artists. It’s a lovely senior living residence and I hope I get to play there for many years to come! Last week I provided Happy Hour Music for Liz Phelan and the residents. The facility was beautiful and the residents and staff could not have been nicer! They were very friendly and interactive and appreciative. I look forward to being back with them soon!
I have the privilege of entertaining at The Delaney and I've been extremely impressed with the staff and environment there. The residents are full of fun and exude a "joyous" feeling. The place itself is beautiful, but I particularly love the interaction the staff has with the residents. They're fun and willing, frequently dancing with residents during our show and engaging with everyone. The dining staff goes out of its way to be sure the table is set the way that group wants it. And Liz, the Engagement Director, is constantly finding new ways to entertain her troops. This seems to me to be a "happy place" - just the place I'd like to go when I'm ready!
I recently visited The Delaney in the Austin/Georgetown area and came away very impressed. The Delaney is a well-appointed senior community with caring and friendly staff who truly make residents and guests feel at home. From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt welcomed, which says a lot about the culture they’ve created. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful common areas and a sense of comfort throughout. One highlight of my visit was enjoying a delicious, chef-prepared lunch—it felt more like dining at a restaurant than a typical senior community meal. Overall, The Delaney stands out for its combination of quality, hospitality, and attention to detail. It’s clear that both residents and visitors are treated with genuine care and respect.
From the moment we walked in The Delaney we were greeted with smiles. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and the entire community felt bright, clean, and airy. The staff is warm, inviting, and welcoming. From the caregivers to the administrative team, everyone is professional, approachable, and truly cares about the residents, making you feel like part of the family. The staff went above and beyond to answer our long list of questions. What stood out most was seeing the caregivers interact with residents—calling them by name and sharing genuine laughs in the hallway. We have toured several places, but The Delaney was the first place that truly felt like a home rather than a facility. Meeting the residents and seeing how happy and active they were gave us so much peace of mind.
The Delaney Memory Care provided my husband a warm, caring and professional staff as well as stimulating activities and visiting musical performers. And I have to say again, how much I appreciate the way the staff cared for him and interacted with him. The space has large windows to let in the sunlight and an atrium right off the common area where the residents can enjoy the outdoors in a lovely setting. And my husband really enjoyed the food, always with the option of choosing between two meals. I’m so glad we chose The Delaney for my husband.
