Resident & family reviews

The place is super clean beautiful and they always have something fun for the residents they may be short staffed at times but they make up for it by working really hard to give these residents an easy life there.i would recommend and that's why I give this place 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We toured the Grandview of Westover Hills. The facility had a nice outside courtyard. However, my mom was not impressed with the dining room. All of the other facilities that we toured had table cloths and nice lighting, but the dining room at this facility was plain. Almost like using card tables. Our tour guide was very professional and courteous.

5 across the board except housekeeping. I found my parents' apartment needing more attention, e.g. bathroom sink, kitchen floor needed to be swept. There is only one licensed nurse (LPN) for about 60 patients. She trains the medication techs to give meds. We went in knowing this and are fine with it because my father was my mom's caretaker.

My Nine Months There Were MISERABLE , Thanks To A Wacko Director By The Name Of Farah Ramirez. She Posted On Facebook That She Was Promoted By God!, So If Your A Happy Camper, Loves Life, Loves To Laugh , Energetic, Spreading Love And Joy, This Place Is Not For You. I've Always Believed In What Goes Around, Comes Around. And To The Staff, The Price Of Greatness Is Responsibility . God Bless Texas.

I stayed in The Grandview of Westover Hills, it was excellent. I had to leave because I got sick and needed more care. The community felt just like staying at home. The staff was excellent and I had a very nice apartment. The maintenance and upkeep were very good, they cleaned my apartment and gave me three meals a day, which was excellent. We played bingo, we had parties for birthdays, we had other activities and movies. We planted plants outside, we had barbecues and other activities on the patio out front including an Easter hunt. The staff was very, very good and the food was good. If we didn't like what was being served that day, we can order something else and they'll bring it to us. It's good value for the money because it's not as expensive as other places. When you pay the rent, that already includes them cleaning your apartment, doing your laundry, and feeding yourself. I would move back if I was able to.

Please if you really love your loved ones do not live here. If your not family you can not help them move out without a power of attorney.. always double check your bill you can live there for 6 months and you're lucky if you get one month for their two amounts of the same. You get charged an extra fee if you have hospice coming in to look after you. Don't understand that since hospice is supposed to be free how could a company charge you for that but I have proof they do. I thought maybe this was just a fair thing, but no today I dealt with head corporate and it is a corporate thing. I will be calling and have that looked into with the government because that is fried people stay away from there it's nice that people that live there are great but the employees lie for each other left and right. I do have to say that girls that work the morning and afternoon shift are absolutely awesome they are the ones that keep that business running.

My Aunt recently moved in to Grandview and unfortunately we don't make it out to see her as much as we should. I recently found out that she was very ill. Long story short Farah Ramirez (manager) saved my Aunts life. She acted as we as family should of acted in behalf of my Aunt. She noticed something was wrong and didn’t stop until they found out what was going on. Farah, thank you for being there for my Aunt. Thank you for caring for your residents as they were your own family. Thank you for taking the time to notice the little things.

Great customer services staff very courteous and caring
