The Monarch at Round Rock

Changed from 1 star to 5 star Called for an inquiry of services. Receptionist responded by saying, "I'm a Receptionist, I don't have time to answer questions". I was contacted few days later to fulfill my first inquiry. I do not believe this is a representation of the facility. One would think this would be a responsibility of a front desk worker. However, this might be entirely true for this case. These settings are established to promote a calming/structured environment. Regardless, they can be stress full on both licensed and non licensed workers. In summary: No judgement is warranted based off this review. Only that a concern arose and was resolved. My solace, love, and praise is extended to all staff who are employed in these facilities.

Family toured over last weeks , they noticed there's only one housekeeper for the whole facility , shes very energetic sweating but still a smile on her face. Very clean smelled good , some rooms were being opened by caregivers took a peak , very clean facility. Felt great vibes environment Caregivers all staff looked friendly still deciding if its the right place. More employees would help community. We're looking for a clean environment for our family member and it is just that.

My family and I couldn't be happier with The Monarch at Round Rock. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we had found a truly special place for our dad. The care and attention to detail provided by the entire team, led by the exceptional Executive Director and the warm and welcoming Concierge have exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the very beginning, [names removed] took the time to sit down with us, listen to our concerns, and understand our dad's unique needs. They had expertise and compassion, it shone through as they guided us through the transition process, making it as smooth and stress-free as possible. [name removed], our wonderful Concierge, has been an absolute delight to work with. Her warm smile and genuine kindness have made us feel like part of the Monarch family from day one. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every resident and their family members feel welcome.

I had a great experience with the Poet's Walk team. I was looking for a community for my father, who lived in the area. I live out of state and was very nervous to search for a community for him. I worked with the Sales Director and she was wonderful. She offered me a Facetime tour, which I accepted. I could see and hear lots of laughter and joy. The community was very clean, well decorated, and well laid out. After the phone tour, I came into town for a trip to see multiple communities. I toured Poet's Walk a couple of times with additional family members. The Poet's Walk team was great at communicating with me and cared about what my father needed and the troubles we were experiencing with his dementia. It was a very seamless process and all of the caregivers were genuine, attentive, and kind. The kitchen team were always laughing and making meals seem lively and fun. Unfortunately, our father passed away before he moved into the community - but we loved our experience.
