The Tradition is home away from home. Located in a serene environment in the very heart of Houston. A very beautiful concept for mum and dad. The room I visited was a complete and standard house with a big spacious living room, an office, complete kitchen with all appliances, dinning area, bedroom, laundry room, visitors restroom, and a big balcony. There is a walk-in closet attached to the bedroom and a bathroom. There are other closets for jackets and other stuff. The Tradition is one of a kind. The Tradition is home away from home. Located in a serene environment in the very heart of Houston. A very beautiful concept for mum and dad. The room I visited was a complete and standard house with a big spacious living room, an office, complete kitchen with all appliances, dinning area, bedroom, laundry room, visitors restroom, and a big balcony. There is a walk-in closet attached to the bedroom and a bathroom. There are other closets for jackets and other stuff. The Tradition is one of a kind. The staff at the concierge, kitchen are pleasant and happy to assist. The place is very clean, there's a bistro, gym and a movie theater among other facilities. There's also coffee for Visitors. I love the Tradition, it stands out.
This is a review for Independent Living THis place has gone downhill . The young people they are hiring are Very rude and never apologize.They treat you like Starbucks like you are lucky to be here even though you are paying 7,000 plus a month. If they don't feel like it at the front you will not get your packages. There is NO concierge they sit in their phones at the front and do not help at all. Save your money it's too late for me but I want to save someone else from coming here thinking you are going to get treated well. The residents are great but the staff is poor and they don't care

This is a great place to live but has hardly any parking for visitors! They need to open up the back lot to visitors!
My wife and I have lived at the Tradition Buffalo Speedway for over six years and have enjoyed every day. The facilities are beautiful and the food is excellent. But what really matters to us are the people, both the residents and staff. The residents have been welcoming from day one and we love the opportunity to interact with other residents at meals, happy hours, events, weekly bridge groups (yes, more than one) and a monthly book club. Additionally, the staff is wonderful. From the concierge to the dining room and housekeeping, everyone is helpful and pleasant. And most of the staff know you by name in a very short time. We feel that living here is like having an extended family. It is the best. Dr. George Ferry (retired pediatric gastroenterologist).
It is taking longer to get returned calls and or emails concerning my mom.
The people that work here treat residents like family! They are all very anxious to help you will and you will get all of the personal help you need to solve any problem. There are five residents on a welcome committee that are available also to help you if you need help. One will contact you after you move in. The residents who live here are extremely friendly and you will find new friends quickly. Every day here is a new adventure....some even say it's like living on a cruise ship. Activities are plentiful all the time. I have been living here since March 2024 and I am thrilled that I made my home at Tradition and I am sure you will love it here. Herbert Plost
My husband and I are eagerly and patiently awaiting our transition to The Tradition on Buffalo Speedway in Houston. We have toured the beautiful apartments, dined in the lovely restaurant and met several of the residents. We will be happy to receive a call telling us an apartment is available. We look forward to becoming part of the Tradition family. Judy
