My sisters and I knew it would be a huge transition for him; however, he chose to embrace the Treemont Lifestyle. The staff has taken the time to get to know him, and he knows the staff by name. The variety of activities is a plus, and he looks forward to participating regularly. Who knew he would love to color? My father moved from Austin to Treemont Health Care Center a little over a year ago in order to be closer to family after living alone and experiencing health issues. My sisters and I knew it would be a huge transition for him; however, he chose to embrace the Treemont Lifestyle. The staff has taken the time to get to know him, and he knows the staff by name. The variety of activities is a plus, and he looks forward to participating regularly. Who knew he would love to color? The attentiveness and quality of care from the administration, direct care/nursing staff and the therapy has made a positive impact on his demeanor and overall happiness. We are truly grateful for the Treemont family.
So far so good. For the cost, it's well worth it. It was one of the least expensive places around, so it's a great value. It's in close proximity to my house. The staff are good, and they have an on-site health care company. They also have a skilled nursing unit. It seems they offer a lot of activities as well.
