Therapy was good, The rest of the services were not so much especially the food. Never ate 1 full meal. Never knew who my nurses were even after being there for 2wks. Even though the NP said she was going to see me after her first visit she never came back.

My husband spent about 3.5 months in this faculty before passing due to cancer. He started on the short term side then moved to the long term care side. Everyone there was incredibly nice and tried their best to support him and us through the process of everything. Tough conversations had to be done. Those weren't fun to have but they tried to approach delicate topics with care, patience, and compassion. Naturally, no where is perfect. My husband was of sound mind and would complain about little things but who doesn't complain especially when life was looking bleak. He never complained about…

Those weren't fun to have but they tried to approach delicate topics with care, patience, and compassion. Naturally, no where is perfect. My husband was of sound mind and would complain about little things but who doesn't complain especially when life was looking bleak. He never complained about anything where I needed to escalate it. I wish I could remember everyone's name to shout out individually but I don't. But from the people who opened the door to the CNAs to the nurses to the admin and directors everyone was great. I truly appreciate this place.

We’ve had multiple stays at TruCare, and overall I do appreciate that the facility itself is consistently clean. I’ve noticed improvement over time, in the past there were more issues with hygiene, but during this most recent stay, I only had one instance where my husband was not clean, which is an improvement. However, there are still some concerns that need to be addressed. During this most recent discharge, he was returned home with a significant amount of stool left in the creases of his legs. By the following day, he was already showing clear signs of a possible infection, which later progressed into a full UTI. Situations like this are very concerning, as proper hygiene is critical to preventing infections. We have also had repeated issues with personal belongings not being returned. During a previous stay, I brought several supplements for him, and although he was receiving them, some, including a more expensive Lion’s Mane supplement, could not be found at discharge. This most recent stay, I brought two supplements again, and he did not receive them at all, and neither bottle was returned. I made sure to label everything clearly with his name, so it is very frustrating that items continue to go missing. We have also had clothing go missing, even though I take the time to label his clothes. That adds to the frustration, as it feels like those efforts don’t make a difference. These may seem like small things, but they are not. The supplements help him stay more regulated and less confused, and hygiene directly impacts his health and risk of infection. Overall, I do see some improvements in care, but better attention to hygiene, personal belongings, and following through on what is provided for patients would make a significant difference. **UPDATE** As stated, when I picked my husband up from this facility on Monday, by the very next day (Tuesday), he was extremely sick. His mental status had changed significantly, which is a known sign for him when something is wrong, so I took him to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a severe UTI and ended up being hospitalized for 10 days. When I picked him up, he was in unacceptable condition. He had stool in the creases of his legs and in his pull-up. I had to bathe him myself before we could even leave the facility. This is basic care that should have been handled by staff. Because of this infection and hospitalization, any small progress he made in rehab was completely lost. He became weak again and had to start over. This means we paid for services that ultimately did not benefit him. Overall, this experience was unacceptable. Not only was it a waste of time and money, but it directly impacted his health and led to a preventable hospitalization.

I want to express my appreciation for Trucare. The entire staff is wonderful. However, Mickey Menchanca, their Administrator, deserves special recognition. She consistently shows compassion, kindness, and knowledge for all residents, staff and visitors that walk into the building. She is always available when needed, and does not shy away from any challenge to improve her facility. If you're looking for LTC/SNF, Trucare is the place to be! You're loved one will be taken care of!

I came to TruCare Living Centers to meet the staff and check out the facility a little bit. Aaron at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and smiled the entire time! The entry area was clean and smelled good. My first experience was great! 😊

So far communication has been professional, timely, kind and helpful with George the Marketing Director. We're excited for my mother to be closer to family and hopeful for great care at this facility. Update*** We are 3 weeks in and the staff all seem to be very nice. My mom and another resident agreed they treat them very well and take good care of everyone. She likes it there. UPDATE**** Five months in at 1st nurses were nice and really took care of my mother however it seems we are on downward trend. Short staff turn over, gossip and drama between staff. EVERYTHING IS A FIRE HAZARD! You can put chair there, you can't have pillow there they are intentionally antagonizing her. Making rude comments and not responding when she hits her call button. It's sad to see such little regard. Only complaints so far is the menu options cheese pizza is like sponge with cheese on top but noone can chew it and alternatives on the board states always available but is never available instead they offer ham sandwich or chicken salad sandwich. Hopefully this is an area they are working to improve. Update: Pizza has improved***

I'm writing this review on behalf of my grandmother Mrs.Barbara Harrell who stayed here for a couple weeks while recovering from an injury. "I loved going to therapy! All were so encouraging. Never let me overdo, as I have tendency in doing just that. I loved how they took care of everyone, not one-on-one, it was a group effort (teamwork) which made everybody's day. Looks like every patient enjoyed their time being there. I love the fact that staff was learning spanish to communicate with some. That is great! Julie B., Mark H., Lindsey R., Diann W.- You can't beat a team like that, Big applaud!! The nurses were great. Ms. Lisa O is so caring, loved seeing her in the morning. She's a gentle lady, working with a beautiful smile and great attitude. Answered any questions I had. Even asked me some questions out of concern. Ms. Sadie took care of me evenings and night, such a sweet young lady. Made sure I was comfortable at night. Didn't get my pain meds right away, she worked on it, until she got results. For some reason she couldnt get the meds and needed for pain or even muscle relaxers. She came through :) Your nurses are wonderful! CNA's were marvelous! Maria and Isabel were checking on me every 45 minutes made sure I had water, made sure I was comfortable. Very professional. Now there is Desiree Arnold!! This lady is the bomb! I went in with my hair in knots. My hair is a little long and I was thinking about cutting it off but this lady fixed the problem. She dressed me and took me to therapy. She assisted many residents to go to therapy and if one was done she would take them back to their rooms. Cheerful, respectful, and just a happy person. I was happy to see her even when she wasn't my CNA for the day. All in all, staff was great!! I've been to rehab places with my mother and I never saw people as professional or courteous as TruCare."

Friendly and efficient and very clean really like how nice the staff is
