4.3 · 16 reviewsI've been a resident here for just 5 months. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family. Meals are included in rent but food not great! 1 of the 2 elevators has been out of order for a few months. Emergency pull cord call system is only partially working. Windows are FILTHY!!! My carpet is OLD and filthy. The parking lot has had the same potholes since I got here on [date removed] (no driveway repairs yet). My only positive comment is that the dining room staff is great, friendly, and courteous.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff do a good job. Communication with family is good. The move in process went smoothly. The food is good most of the time. The quality of food is good, just over cooked at times. Suggestions: More menu items for people on dialysis and transportation on the weekends for the residents.
I have not participated in the activities but everybody else has and they seem to love them. The community is affordable and based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend Valley View Independent Senior Living community to other families.

I would recommend this community to others. This community has out perfect for my loved one and for the price. The communication between the staff and our family is good, They keep us well informed. I would recommend this community to others
I would go there in a heartbeat. You can't get that service for the money in my part of the country. I am so blessed my loved one is in this community. The staff take such good care of my loved one. They take care of any requests I have for my loved one. They are phenomenal!
I chose Valley View because of the location and the price. Also the fact that it was very bi-lingual and we thought that was important. The room sizes here were adequate for his needs. My husband lost a lot of weight while he was here so I am not sure what was going on with the food. Some of the staff was exceptional and some were just doing their job, but generally they were very kind to him.
I chose Valley View because it was very attractive looking and the staff members were very friendly on my initial visit. They do have various sizes of apartments, but my apartment size is ample. The location here is excellent, it is very close to the veterans hospital. I would definitely recommend to others.
