My mother was in windmill for two weeks in March. She was supposed to be there for three weeks by the second week. My mother had gone downhill. She had bad sores on her bottom on the bottom of her feet for lack of movement. My brother brought it to the attention of the nurse or MA. Her response was my mother was not on the medical side, she was in the rehab side and that’s not part of their job duties. She said they should’ve put her in the medical side, my mother didn’t have bed sores when she went in , so that wasn’t necessary at that time, but anyone with common sense and has some kind of compassion would’ve contacted someone in authority to get her to the medical side where she could get treatments. My son visited on Sunday she had use the bathroom on herself. She had called for the nurses 45 minutes later the bell still ringing so he went to the nurses desk and told them my grandmother has been calling for about 45 minutes and still no one has responded to her, so he said to them does the Bell mean anything to anyone. and all he got was a look someone will be there in a minute the minute never came. My mother is on dialysis Friday morning came around for her to get ready for dialysis She told the nurse or medical assistant whoever she was she doesn’t do dialysis on Saturday so she didn’t need to go anywhere. She was confused. It was actually Friday but anybody with common sense and cares would’ve said no ma’am it is Friday. It’s not Saturday so it’s your dialysis day.instead they noted that she refused to go. They don’t care to do there job. If you want your loved ones to have good care this is not the facility for them. It’s the biggest mistake we ever made, never again.

Very disappointed in this facility my mom was discharged from the hospital to this place for physical therapy to regain strength to walk ..withing those days that she was their not once had she recived her physical therapy to walk they had her throwing the ball around in a group and playing playdou like what does that have to do with walking..or even trying to make my mom walk...they were just always quick to lay her in the bed..an not to mention a nurse has hurt my moms ribs and knee from transferring her off the wheelchair to the bed im glad we checked my mom out got her to her dr and now…

My Mom has been living at windmills nursing home for 5 years already She loves it there she feels very comfortable. The staff pretty much knows her very well. It doesn't smell like urine when you walk in it's always clean They feed and treat her well. We made the right decision when we chose windmills for her home. We also do her laundry clean her room change her bed sheets That's our choice. We want to make sure my mom is very comfortable and fells at home. Great job staff!

I liked the way that Windmill Village Rehabilitation and Care Center treated my wife. The service was good and their people were friendly. It's a nice place. They treated us with decency. The facilities were top-notch. They put in all new flooring, painted everything, and upgraded all of it. It was clean and didn't smell when you walked in. They took care of their people. I was there with my wife after eating lunch, and when she had supper, there was nothing wrong with the food. They had an activity room and a rehab facility that they took her to. They helped me get her on Medicaid and they had to wait while it was being filed and appealed and all that stuff. I had no problem with them.

I only feel like this is something a family should do if there is simply no other choice,my mom is ok that gives me piece of mind, however her FAVORITE NURSE is no longer working in her hall. She really misses her her being Cheryl I hope I spelt that right. So if you are able please go back to her hall she'd love to see you more again. WE miss your smile and warm heart thank you to you and all the others that love my mom like she was theirs. Thank you for the difference you make in the world. God bless you all with all you deserve and then some.

If you love your parents or loved ones please do not put them here if you're considering this place I strongly urge you to reconsider because it isn't what it looks like it isn't what they say it is they don't even let my mom go outside her hygiene both her physical and oral hygiene is poor I find her in her own urine quite often and not all of the staff is bad but there is those that are especially one named Megan who works in the lot women's only dementia unit who says I was a problem by a silly accusation if I was smoking in the facility gave her the right to then drag me out physically and as I try to go into the restroom area to get away from her she smashed me between the door and the wall as hard as she could and she's getting away with this cuz if I press the issue I no longer get to see my mother and even the ones that are not bad in the staff are still protecting her so I feel like they're just as bad because they're allowing A co-worker to physically hurt people and I'm not even a resident there but she hit me too and I'm supposed to be okay with that and she gets away with it please reconsider pray as hard as you can to see the truth and I pray that God reveal it to you so that you know this is not the thing that you should do or the place that you should leave people you love there are those who do care like I said but those that care also protect these that don't and so again if they're allowing to let this lady do this they're just as bad please consider that

I walked in here two days ago to visit a friend who was in rehabilitation. I was super impressed. No urine smell. No chemical scents. I took a pic of their beautiful Christmas tree. Also, my friend stated the fish her is excellent! If I needed long term care I would sign up here. Thank you for the best kept secret!

Never take a loved one hear. My mother was at UMC then transferred to Trust Point then transferred to Spothplains rehab. Elsa at Windmill Village called to have her transferred there without permission. All we had done was visit and ask questions at Windmill Village. Never even met a Elsa. She had to call around and find my mother and transfer her without anyone's knowledge. Very shady things going on here. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH THE ELDERLY!!
