Windsor Quail Valley Post-Acute Health is a clean place and the staff is great. Mrs. Chizoba is a excellent worker.
The way they treated our mom was inhumane. They could never give us any doctor reports on our mom. It took 40 days before the doctor saw her and the kept trying to cover it up. Our mom was never cleaned and had an immense amount of dead skin cells on her. Due to their neglect, my mom suffered pneumonia and they had to send her to the emergency room. Her area was always left dirty and not attempt was made to make her feel comfortable. It was difficult to get a nurse to help and they could not give us doctor reports on her condition. Her area was always left dirty and not attempt was made to make her feel comfortable. It was difficult to get a nurse to help and they could not give us doctor reports on her condition. I warned my wife and the rest of the family members that we need to move our mom out of this place because their neglect will eventually cause her death. The administrative staff told us that their "job is not to make patients better, but to keep them stable." This statement reflects a level of wickedness. They also left our mom with her bare bottom exposed and bedsores left exposed. Our mom’s condition deteriorated really quickly and they could not and would not tell us why. My mom would be okay in the hospital and become attentive, but when she would be sent back, she would become unresponsive. We tried to ask why, but they would not respond and would try to deflect to something else. The Director of Nursing, C. Gibbs and the administrator who is also the neglect coordinator were no help. They just tried to deflect our concerns to other issues. The director of nursing and the administrator and were very rude and uncaring. No compassion or actions were taken to know why my mom was not responding . Please read the low reviews of this place because it reflects what really goes on in this place. The five star reviews really appear to be an attempt to deflect from their inhumanness. These places are just full of money hungry beasts feeding off the infirmities of the elderly.
The Staff Members are very respectful and welcoming . They also provided me with all the information I needed to be assured that my loved one would be comfortable , still enjoying life and in good care :) Thank you all
If I could give this place a 0 I would they don’t even deserve a one star at all. My mother in law has had a rough time at this facility. I have always heard that nursing homes were bad, but never would inhave imagined it being this bad. It's been really challenging and psychologically stressful for my husband having to deal with the reality of his mother's health see it decline due to neglect. When I would ask my husband how his mom is doing I would hear good news when she was out of Windsor. When she is taken to an ER or a hospital she would be more alert. However, when she would be brought back to Windsor her health would decline. At times I would see the confusion from my husband becauee the people at Windsor would never give the family straight forward answers to their questions. My husband and his siblings were constantly trying to get answers and Windsor and its communication along with their transparency was horrible. I spoke to my husband a couple of days ago and he told me that his sister reached out to Windor's leadership and they told her that their job is not to improve patients health but to keep them stable. When I heard my husband say that, I knew this place was a death chamber masked as a place of care. The 5 star reviews here have to be fake. There's no way that this place can recieve 5 stars. On its best day its a 1 and a half stars! I have personally been there to visit my mother in law and have seen how they literally abandoned her and left her to rot. Complete neglect. This is unacceptable! They care more about the money and not your loved one. Send your loved one hear if you hate them. If you love them, keep them away from this place.
This facility failed my father, he died of a urinary tract infection that turned into sepsis this past December while in their care. They called me and said he was complaining about stomach pain and that he couldn't go to the restroom one night while I was at work. I just assumed he was constipated and not that big of a deal. A couple days after they called me and said he was rushed to the hospital because he was unresponsive. When I got to the hospital he was on full life support fighting for his life. I feel strongly that his death could have been prevented if the nursing staff would have acted sooner. Only in third world countries do people die of urinary infections. They failed my father and should be ashamed of themselves. I tried to call him multiple times but he had the tendency of always putting his cellphone on airplane mode by accident. I miss him dearly and wish I could have seen him one last time to tell him I love him. Don't send your loved ones to this place.
Every time I have come to this community, the staff is so pleasant, kind and helpful! Shawn is extremely helpful and timely. Ellen, Natasha and Christina are all so lovely! It’s always clean and smells great!! They have an awesome team!
This skilled nursing and rehab facility truly stands out for its warm and welcoming environment. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that the staff genuinely care about their patients. The Director of Nursing and the social worker are exceptional—they take the time to really listen, understand each patient’s needs, and ensure the best possible care and support. It’s clear that compassion and communication are top priorities here. Highly recommend!
This past stay was the 2nd time for my Mother. We went back the 2nd time because the administration and staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable, punctual and the facility stays clean. The residents are fully taken care of. You become family after a while. I would highly recommend this facility for short and long term stays. Thank you Windsor Quail Valley.
