Windsor - Raymondville

To whom it may concern: When the time near of having to place a close family member at a nursing home, we have to be selective that the needs of our loved one/ones are met. At no time do we want our loved ones to be locked in a room where their release time is shortened. When we visited this nursing home we were impressed by the outlook. So the family chose to bring my aunt to this location. As the time progressed her simple needs weren’t tended to as promised. Because of distance to the nursing home we did not visit her everyday. But when we did, there were so many issues that were not tended to. We opted to bring her home to daily tend to her needs. Do know in the following months, my aunt will be needing one to one care and will have to return to a nursing home. Would I recommend this nursing home to patients, I would if more emphasis is placed on the patient, just simple bathing, daily changing and of course daily bed sheet change if needed. I would like give thanks to all the staff at Windsor Raymondville for the treatment that I had there. Everyone was so nice and my room was always clean The rehabilitation girls did an outstanding job getting me back on my feet and the nursing staff were so sweet to me. And I can't forget the BOM thank you for bring me in for rehabilitation . It all was a great experience. Thank you everyone.

I am very happy to write a comment about the Facility in Raymondville. The changes to this facility is nothing short of amazing. From the moment we met Sherrill at Harlingen Medical Center I was impressed. Sherill was open to discussing environmental changes made to the structure and the staff changes made. I was leary having been in the old facility and the staff that were working hiding in offices. Sherrill was open to all manner of question and answered all with honesty. She was great to work with and my husband was accepted. He was transferred the following day and the Facility is only a five minute drive from home. The Facility it self is beautiful,clean and odor free. Bright and cheerful and the current residents appear happy and relaxed. Senior staff do not hide in the offices and they are most helpful in answering questions and concerns. Follow through is great and most importantly they listen. Social services are great in assisting in obtaining medical and financial powers of attorneys. Things you do not think you ever going to need. The overall friendliness and openness is a great factor in care here. Everyone smiles, is pleasant and appear to enjoy working here. Do not change you current philosophy, but build on it. Great job to all.

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or Raymondville makes you feel like you are being taken care of by family. The brilliant nurses are some of the most exceptional, dedicated, passionate and above all caring individuals. Their CNA's are AWESOME! My mother was recently there for a short while but they welcomed us and made us feel at home ! My mother could not have been under the care of better people, they are simply amazing. Their therapy staff is so caring , patient and motivational that just makes therapy something to look forward to each day. These people are God Sent ! Thank you for all you did for us 💙🙏 Arriaga Fam.
