The facility is spotless, the activities are fantastic, and a big shout-out to Kimberly Bond, the activities director- she brings so much creativity and joy to the residents. The staff makes everyone feel like family. This would be a great place for my mom- truly a five-star experience!
My wife has been in this facility for 3yrs and been treated and taken care of great.
Winfield/Avir Nursing & Rehabilitation in Crockett is a wonderful facility. Every time I've visited, it has been clean and well maintained—it never has the odors that people often associate with nursing facilities. The staff is always friendly, caring, and professional. They greet everyone with kindness, treat residents with respect, and are always willing to answer questions or lend a helping hand. It's clear they genuinely care about the people they serve. I would highly recommend Winfield/Avir Nursing & Rehabilitation to anyone looking for compassionate, quality care for a loved one.

Since AVIR took over, I’ve enjoyed seeing positive changes. The staff truly cares about the residents and works hard every day to make them feel comfortable, respected, and engaged. It’s great to see activities that encourage residents to socialize and stay involved, and the team is always friendly and welcoming to families and visitors. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make this feel like home for the residents.
My dad lived out his last days there neglected, ignored, abused, not fed like he was supposed to be, fought with him, manhandled him, never explained his bruises, he was not treated like the great, loved, admired respected man he DESERVED and I do not care what they say. Actually if this had a place for 0 stars, that's what I would grade it. A 0!!!
