Awesome long term staff that stay dedicated to the facility and the residents there. It is has a wonderful scenario for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Mother had great stay staff was great.
Great opportunity for the elders
My mom was here a very short time . But the days she was here they took good care of her and always had 3 warm meals a day ! Thanks to the few that watched over her
My dad was a resident of Woodlake Nursing and Rehabilitation. The grounds were well kept. They had a water fountain in the front. The staff did what they had to do. They were nice to us. My mom had dementia. So, she would call up there thousands of times and they were nice about it. My dad didn't do any of those activities because he couldn't walk but they would do physical therapy with him. I don't think they had many activities because I was asking about it for my mom to go in there, and they didn't have anything but bingo or something like that. I never ate the food, but the food was decent. I wasn't upset that they couldn't take him to our doctor's visit on Tuesday and Thursday, which they said they could. The outside was nice, but when you came inside it smelled like a nursing home.
If I could give no stars I would. This place needs for state to come in and observe this place for at least a few days and they need to send someone undercover. They don't answer the phones ever. The administrator his solution to a problem is take her back where she came from. And the rude lady on the phone this morning after I called 23 times before she finally answered tells me call state. Then she hung up on me. This place is the worst in Brazoria County. Don't put your loved ones here, I promise you will regret it.
I visited Woodlake Nursing and Rehabilitation. The staff seemed very caring. The rooms have shared bathrooms and are good for what they are. The maintenance seemed very good. Their dining area is pleasant. I've seen the rooms, the rehabilitation gym, and the lobby. They have a lake and a fishing pier. The setting is nice, and it has a good sense of community.
Clean and safe
