Resident & family reviews

Always clean and their residents seem very happy and engaging.

Well this is the place where my sister staying because she have autism I'm not really very happy with it but it seems okay and the people that are nice and everything

This place will be formaly reported. Please do not take your loved one here. Its deplorable. Its unsanitary. We left and moved our loved one after 3 hours. Arrived to a dirty room with trash in it. Infested with bugs. Bathroom had mold and mildew and not cleaned from past tenant. Bed didnt have rails (which is unsafe). Sheets and bedding dirty. Never saw the nurse during 3 hours of initially being there. And not sure they even know we left and moved him to a new facility. The state and health department should shut them down.

My relative is bored. Otherwise she only complains about a few CNAS

Wished this facility/staff was closer to our home! Our Mom was only here for short period of time until we could find a facility closer to us. The management/staff/nurses were all PHENOMINAL! The daily routine and interaction with everyone gave us my Mom a second wind and I did not realize how much her and I both needed this. Everyone kept us up to date and were always happy to see us even when we arrived. We are so sad to have to leave. If you are thinking about moving a loved one here, GIVE IT A SHOT! Not every person whom has a good experience will leave a review, so I am hoping this will help you make your decision! Blessings!

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. Would never recommend this place to anyone for a loved one. My grandmother had only been there about 6 weeks when she fell and broke her hip do to no assistance as her shoulder was already broke and she couldn't stabilize her self. I was never notified she left the facility and I'm he MPA. 5 days after she had surgery on her hip, I get a call stating they found her laying in the hallway with a head laceration and don't know how she got there or how long she was laying there til found. She now has a skull fracture and brain bleed due to the neglect.

Very nice place with wonderful caring staff!!

I searched for a good home for my mom in a few places. A friend told me her grandparents and aunts stayed there and they were well cared for. I met with Angie and she is quite adamant about medicaid and their rules. I followed her lead and mama stayed there 1.5 years. I would do pop up visits to bring mama stuff, and the staff would put her name on stuff and I just fell in love with them. They were like her daughters too. I always saw the place clean and full of love. The personal kinda love. They made mama laugh and smile on a daily basis. I felt like mama was special, but I saw them caring for others and all the residents were special. The staff take them out every 2 hours for smoke breaks and I'd sit out there with them and we would cut up and laugh. The people weren't there waiting to die, they were waiting to live and they do, it was really something to see. They do arts and crafts and celebrate the residents just like family. I can't say enough about them. My mama was hard headed and she ran her own life, and she would make them laugh with her fiery nature. They would call me about anything pertaining to my mama and were so sweet, kind and caring. This place is full of love. Mama passed away with me and them with kindness and love and she went peaceful. I will never be able to thank them enough for relieving so much burden from me, making me comfortable and confident that she was in good hands. Angie knows medicaid like the back of her hand, her response to everything was "we don't mess with medicaid". And she made it possible because I was so new. She will go to bat for anyone of her patients and make sure they get the best care possible. I truly love her and all the staff so much. I could say thank you a million times, it wouldn't be enough. When mama was passing they were sad as well and so gentle and I know her, and every patient that has been there mean something to the nursing staff. I fully encourage anyone to give this place a try. As heartbroken as I am for my mama, she had everything she needed that last 1.5 years. And those nursing staff were also her baby girls. They are my sisters. Thank you Woodland Park from the bottom of my heart. You will never know the impact you had on my life and my faith in humanity has been restored. I love you all! P.S. I definitely don't believe any bad reviews on here. It's not possible. I saw to much. This facility protects their residents and I'm only guessing some people don't like to be challenged if it were thought they weren't doing right by their loved ones. I never had a issue. The residents come first and foremost. I only see happy smiling residents as I met many and would talk to them as well. Angie has dedicated her life to this place and she is an absolute God send. We had our last Thanksgiving with my mama thanks to them, and a piece of my heart is in that facility. I'm sorry I'm so long winded, but I had to share my own story.
