New Horizon Homes

I DO recommend New Horizon’s Boca House to future residents! In the spring of 2026, our father was rejected by a large senior living facility. We quickly learned that only small senior assisted living facilities would take him where care was always available. In a frenzy, we interviewed 7 different locations and New Horizon's Boca location stood out as one of our top two choices. Although they were not the cheapest by far, their location was good for our family, their Boca house had lots of space for our father to maneuver, meals were encourage at the table with all residents, and outside entertainment was brought in every other week. Tucker, our sale contact and director, always made himself available to us via text and when required, in person. (But the staff was so good, that his presents was rarely required; more on that in a moment.) Usually after a contract is signed, the primary point of contact begins to disappear from communication. That was NOT Tucker! As our father needs increased, Tucker would get the equipment needed to keep him comfortable. Upon our father's passing, Tucker made sure we knew what our billing status was and gave us ample time to remove our father's belongings. Tucker's attention to us highly reduced our stress as we focused on the upcoming funeral. Even a month later, he is still timely responding to us and notifying us of received mail! Thank you Tucker! As for the staff, they are just beyond great! The house is always clean. The staff always answers the phone when we called. They always maintain their patience and a smile even when those residing at the house get upset or make blaming accusations. More specifically, Thelma and Modern became our staples of the house! The two of them kept us informed about our father's needs and status. Thelma always kept the house running smoothly as she conveyed our father's needs to the other staff and made sure they followed through. Modern ingratiate himself as our father's last new friend of his life. I wish I could say that these small assisted living homes were our father's style; they weren't, but New Horizon is what our father needed at this point of his life. Thank you for having a room available to us! If you are looking for a home for a loved one, the Boca location and their staff will not disappoint!
