From the moment I talked to Svetiana to meeting Jackie and her team I new I had made the right decision for my father. Everyone I talked to were the most loving, caring and devoted people I have ever meet. The facility was spotless. It was bright, light and modern. Though my father passed away not long after he arrived due to all his medical issues, he was treated with so much respect and love it made my heart smile. Were do I begin, I can not say enough great things about this place. From the moment I talked to Svetiana to meeting Jackie and her team I new I had made the right decision for my father. Everyone I talked to were the most loving, caring and devoted people I have ever meet. The facility was spotless. It was bright, light and modern. Though my father passed away not long after he arrived due to all his medical issues, he was treated with so much respect and love it made my heart smile. I had visited several memory care facilities and Avalon was the best by far. From the staff to the food ( which is amazing), to the look of the building, I was very impressed. All the people staying there are so happy. I wish all memory care facilities were ran the way Avalon Memory Care, Lewisville is. Don't you think your loved ones deserve the best, I do and thank God I found that so my father could get the care he needed. Thanks Jackie
The team at Avalon was exceptional during my father's 2 years at their facility. The staff treated him so well and we always felt he was loved and cared for. After having him at another facility close by and moving him to Avalon, it's hands down the best in the area.

Avalon managed a very difficult illness with aplomb and grace and acceptance for the entire 18 months she lived there. Her final three months were not her happiest under the circumstances (after a fall resulting in hospice care), but the staff’s continued affection for her and real professionalism during her hospice stay (in place at Avalon) provided her AND her family with great comfort. My family cannot say enough good things about the care my mother received at Avalon. Avalon managed a very difficult illness with aplomb and grace and acceptance for the entire 18 months she lived there. Her final three months were not her happiest under the circumstances (after a fall resulting in hospice care), but the staff’s continued affection for her and real professionalism during her hospice stay (in place at Avalon) provided her AND her family with great comfort. I would recommend to anyone dealing with similar circumstances (as our family also found Avalon through a family’s recommendation) that this is the best place for someone with dementia or other memory issues to reside.

I toured Avalon Memory Care - Lewisville, and the marketing director was fine. However, it's a bad impression walking in the door as old people just sitting in about 10 or 12 chairs in a horseshoe shape, not watching the television, just staring into space. I didn't see any activity calendar or locations where they could do physical or occupational therapy. I didn't see any recreational area. There wasn't much going on there other than a location for people to be. The rooms were nice, a typical 300 square feet with a television. There was a kitchen there. They provide food. There were tables where people could eat. Other than that, it was barebones.
Our family is grateful to Avalon and the wonderful care that they gave my dad. I would highly recommend them for the care of seniors with memory issues.
Avalon in Lewisville, TX provided excellent care for my family member the last two years of his life. The staff was attentive and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place for care for your loved one.
The care my wife received at Avalon Memory Care in Louisville Texas was outstanding. I visited the facility all most daily and never once did I have any reason to question the care Donna was receiving. I observed how the staff handled various situations in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for care of a loved one.
My mother was very happy there. She commented how much she enjoyed the food and how friendly everyone was. Moving in (and out after her passing) was easy and everyone was caring and supportive. I was impressed with the low client to caregiver ratio both during the day and at night, as well as the consistent interaction to keep my mother active and engaged. The facility is beautiful and very clean. A physician and PAs are available to care for clients making it easy for all to manage.
