My family member was there and this place was terrible. He went in there relatively healthy and he went down hill very quickly. He contracted CDIff in the nursing facility and they did not know how to handle the situation. He came very close to passing away. There was a sign that he was contagious on the door and to wear a gown. Their own staff would not wear gowns. We bought him a lot of new clothes and most of it was lost. They have a laundry facility and the clothes are piled up to the ceiling with no system. Contaminated clothes mixed with clean clothes. We were fortunate to get him out…

We moved him to Bartlett and it’s a wonderful facility. Bartlett Skilled nursing is so much better. Don’t go to Avir.

Thank you so much, Avir, and the entire wonderful staff for the care you provided to my father. Your compassion, respect, and dedication meant more to us than words can express. You treated him with genuine kindness, and in the process, you all truly became like family to me.

Thanks to all the staff Members there I was able to get my family member in there comfortably in a timely manner without much confusion or unanswered questions. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for someplace it’s safe for the ones you love.

We have decided to move to this facility as they take New Mexico Medicaid it enhances to have her in the city we were we went to the one in New Mexico and I had to go talk to maintenance cuz it was a metal plate on the floor that could have hurt the person in memory care they said that they notified administration's multiple times and they've never come and fixed it so I went and I had a discussion with the maintenance man and I told him I was reporting him to OSHA and he came and fixed it but it's bad there they only shower the elderly and memory care unit once a week they neglect them it's bad I took a bunch of pictures but this place on the west side is wonderful it's clean it's spacious they were really helpful Miss Ayala was very helpful and Crystal to get the paperwork started so we're going to have her here in Texas praise God it was very clean the clients were happy these are somebody's mom's somebody's wives somebody's sisters somebody's family member and they showed more care they showed more concern

Avir is an instant 5 stars in my book. I've never seen such a clean nursing home, the staff treats you like family, they are helpful and kind. And above all the residents look happy and clean. Thank you Avir for helping me with my decision to keep my mom there, I trust she is being taken care of like our loved ones should.

no communication between providers. exceptionally poor communication with patients. i am at risk of losing coverage before treatment is through. avoid avoid.

Excelente servicio, el personal tiene trato muy humano con los habitantes de este lindo hogar.

I cannot begin to say how grateful I am for this place. I cried for a week at first because it’s new and you are leaving a loved one there and you want to make sure that your loved one will be taken care of. My dad was at Avir for almost 2 months. Liza Was his nurse during the day all week. She was amazing! She always answered my questions and didn’t look like she was in a hurry with me. She was very kind to my dad and took good care of him. Martha, the hallway caretaker took very good care of my dad and was very kind. Annette and Monica, who gave him his medicines during the day were very kind to me and my dad, and answered all my questions with a smile. Tara, Vanessa, and Byron, who are in charge of the nurses were amazing and would answer every question I would go ask them with a smile. They always got things done and accomplished for me. The food was always delicious and on time. Maria, who always cleaned my dad’s room did an amazing job. It was always very clean. I visited my dad every day and was greeted by two very special kind girls in the front, Carla and. Evelyn. I also want to give a very big thank you to Arturo who took very good care of my dad‘s very huge wound on his back. His helper, Soriah was also very kind to my dad. Arturo is the wound care nurse at Avir. Arturo is amazing! Avir has lots of activities and my dad and I made lots of friends with all the residents there. I enjoyed going every day. I don’t want to forget my dad‘s therapist’s who were so kind to him and worked him every day and got him walking again. Thank you, David and Marlene the OT and PT. Thank you, Elizabeth the speech therapist. My dad had a roommate named Leo. Leo is the kindest man. We were blessed that my dad was blessed to be put with Leo. Thank you, Leo. I looked forward to seeing you every day. I am so grateful and blessed that you were with my dad and that you became our friend. Thank you Avir for the amazing experience we had. May God bless you all tremendously. You all blessed my family with all your care and love for my dad..
