My mom has been with Legacy/Pegasus Landing for three years now. She began her journey on the assisted living side and transitioned to Memory Care after six months. From the very beginning, our experience has been nothing short of the best we could have hoped for. The staff is amazing and consistently goes out of their way to provide the best possible care. This has become even more meaningful as my mom is beginning to lose her battle with Lewy Body dementia. From the very beginning, our experience has been nothing short of the best we could have hoped for. The staff is amazing and consistently goes out of their way to provide the best possible care. This has become even more meaningful as my mom is beginning to lose her battle with Lewy Body dementia. Every day I spend with her, she still has a smile on her face—something that can seem almost impossible given what she is going through. I truly believe that speaks to the love, compassion, and care she receives there. I am incredibly grateful for the leadership and for each and every caregiver who continues to show my mom kindness and love. Making the decision to place a loved one in assisted living or memory care is difficult enough. Knowing you have found a place that is truly the real deal and will care for your loved one the way you would want them to be cared for is absolutely priceless.

All of the leadership and staff here at the Legacy have been amazing, and we were blessed that they took such good care of our dad. It’s a wonderful facility

Moving my aunt to Legacy at Cimarron has made an incredible difference in her quality of life. Beyond the wonderful activities and beautiful environment, what truly stands out is the genuine care, attention, and compassion shown by the staff every single day. The team has been exceptional about making sure her medications are managed properly, her needs are noticed, and that she is treated as a person — not just another resident. The personalized attention and kindness have meant so much to our family. A very special thank you to April, the Director of Memory Care Nursing, who has become my aunt’s “bestie.” The bond they have developed says everything about the level of care at this facility. April and the staff truly take the time to connect with residents, understand their personalities, and make them feel valued, safe, and loved. Before moving to Legacy at Cimarron, my aunt had become withdrawn and discouraged in a setting where she did not feel as engaged or connected. Since moving here, she has completely transformed. She is now alert, participating in activities, socially engaged, and genuinely enjoying her life again. Seeing that change has been priceless for our family. Another thing that impressed us is how many of the staff members have remained at the facility together for many years — in some cases nearly a decade. That kind of consistency says a great deal about the culture, leadership, and work environment that has been created there. A special thank you to Sr Executive Director Jacob Biggs for fostering a facility where both residents and staff genuinely seem valued and cared for. I also appreciate Legacy at Cimarron’s active engagement with the Alzheimer’s Association and their commitment to ongoing dementia care education. The facility regularly hosts Alzheimer’s-related meetings and resources for families, and it is clear the staff receive consistent training in the specialized skills required to care for residents with memory loss and dementia. That knowledge, patience, and understanding shows in the way residents are treated every day. I am deeply grateful to the entire Legacy at Cimarron team for the compassion, professionalism, and heart they bring to their work every day. For the staff, this may be part of their job, but for families like ours, this is our aunt’s life, comfort, dignity, and home — and that care and kindness truly matter more than words can express.

They take beautiful care of their residents. We are so blessed to have our Mom there

My dad has been here quite a while now and he really loves this place. The staff is awesome, very professional, very knowledgeable, very courteous and are very accommodating. The facilities are very clean and well maintained There is almost always some activity going on to keep residents safe, happy, entertained and healthy. Several common areas for residents and families to use. The food is well prepared and they have a menu that is available at all times for menus that do not appeal to everyone. All requests are answered in a timely manner and Jacob is great about communicating with families. Overall this place is the best care for my father!!

I haven't personally sampled the food.. I'm so please that your group helped me find this place for my brother! Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My brother moved in to the facility this week, and I am pleased to say that my experience with Robin, Benessa and April, has been great, beyond expectation. Thank you!

I like the activities that The Legacy at Cimarron has going on all the time, and that was, to me, a high point. I didn't want my wife to turn into just someone sitting in a room. They had nice rooms, too, and they have a couple of options for the rooms. They're large enough so you would feel comfortable. I didn't want to feel like I was living in a hotel room. I did not eat, although I was there at lunchtime, and the dining area was fairly full. Everybody I met was polite and sociable. I also met a team of ladies that were preparing medicines for the people, and they were very open about what they were doing and how they managed that. And that was another comfort zone for my wife and probably myself that someone would watch that and ensure that we were doing the right things. The outside was immaculate. They had a walking path. It was very clean and well-maintained, which is a big thing for me. Here in El Paso, we have nasty winds that blow trash all over the place, but there was none there, so it was obvious that they do daily clean cleanups.
