I am writing to express my family’s deepest gratitude for Sherry, the risk assessment nurse at Baywind Village. I am writing to express my family’s deepest gratitude for Sherry, the risk assessment nurse at Baywind Village. From our very first contact, Sherry was deeply empathetic, kind, and genuinely concerned for my father's well-being. Sensing how overwhelmed and unsure we felt navigating the process, she immediately stepped in as an advocate and resource for us. She provided her number, offered 24/7 availability, and consistently followed up to ensure we were settled and every question was answered. Sherry’s actions proved her complete commitment to her patients. During a critical health moment on a day she was not even working, we reached out to her, and she immediately sprang into action. Her swift intervention directly saved my father from pain and suffering. Later in his stay, she was wonderfully proactive—reaching out to verify a visitor in his room so she could properly add them to his profile and ensure medical updates could be shared seamlessly. When it became time for Dad to transition to hospice care, Sherry explained the process with complete clarity, making sure we were fully informed while providing compassionate guidance and maintaining complete professional excellence. Sherry is a true blessing to Baywind Village, her patients, and their families.

Kathy McCovery has been such a bright light during my stay at baywind. She is kind, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make me feel cared for and supported. You can tell she truly cares about the people she works with, and that makes such a difference during a difficult time. I’m so grateful for her compassion, dedication, and the positive impact she’s had on my recovery.

Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Baywind Village Skilled Nursing Facility. From the moment my father-in-law arrived, he was welcomed with compassion, dignity, and genuine care. Although his stay was short before he needed to be moved, the staff made sure he was comfortable, cared for, and treated with kindness every step of the way. A very special thank you to Ashley Leal, who went far above and beyond during a difficult time for our family. She made herself available to help my mother-in-law with important paperwork, waited for her arrival, and even came out to her vehicle…

She made herself available to help my mother-in-law with important paperwork, waited for her arrival, and even came out to her vehicle to personally greet her and ensure she had everything she needed. That level of compassion and dedication is something you don't see every day. My in-laws were treated like VIPs, and that is rare to find in any facility. We are incredibly grateful for the staff's swift actions, loving care, and genuine concern for both my father-in-law and our entire family. Thank you, Baywind Village for making such a challenging time a little easier with your kindness and professionalism. We will never forget it.

I have a beloved family member here and I visit weekly. I am detail oriented by nature and I notice everything happening around me and her. We love many things about Baywind and she is very happy here. The Nurses are amazing and pay close attention to their patients, especially Natalie. Everyone encourages the residents, like during physical therapy, but they do not force them. Perfect! They have games and activities weekly and there is a resident council where residents give direct feedback to important staff members about their concerns. They are working on the food selections and trying new recipes. Baywind has great heart and reliability. If you have a concern, they will find you the right person for you to talk to directly. They do not dodge you or try to cover up things. Getting used to a nursing/assisted living home always requires some adjusting for everyone -- but frequent visits to loved ones makes it so much easier. This is a truly awesome place.

My wife stayed at Baywind for six weeks. The nursing staff was very professional and personal. I can’t thank Natalie, Christiana, Erica and others enough. Being a CNA at an SNF facility is not easy. Again, many things to Ellery, Natasha and others. Special shout out to Rebekah Penton who kept a close eye on my wife’s health and rehabilitation. The facility is kept clean and located in a beautiful location. It is 30 minutes away from the closest facility to my house. The professionalism ,cleanliness , and the staff make the extra drive worth every minute.

My wife was a recent resident at Baywind Village in the 400 hall. I want to give shout out to two special people. Liz and Davia, they were outstanding with their care and compassion. They worked as a team and were there when she needed them.

Tony Andrew’s (occupational therapist) and Elane Gonzales (Physical Therapist) were just the best. Africa, and all the personal assistants were amazing. The Nurses were also amazing. They were all very caring and friendly.

Bay Wind Village has been fantastic with my recovery efforts. These are my personal opinions only. The Facility is very, very clean and doesn't smell at all. The Staff from Top to Bottom is very helpful and caring from the Housekeeping all the way to the upper Management that always has a smile on their face, accomoddating and welcoming feel. They truly are glad your here and care about their Patients. Thank You, also goes out to Ms. Ashley Leal with helping me with any issues or concerns that I may have or had which is very minute to none at all by handling expeditiously and rapidly. The Food is (3) cooked Meals a day and really good. To me, this place is like a 4 Star Hotel but is an Assisted Living /Rehabilitation establishment. The Physical Therapy is very good and they also Wash /Dry your Laundry,Fold/Hang to boot and bring back to you. So, if your looking for a place to bring for your loved one, just know they will be in good hands. Please consider Bay Wind Assited Living for sure. One happy Patient for sure.
