We found this beautiful place this year for my mom, and we’re so grateful that we did. This was the first place we visited, and from the moment we walked in we could feel God’s presence and the witnessed the genuine care each person received. We went on to visit other places in the surrounding area even Bon Vie in Port Arthur however Beaumont Health Care Center unanimously stood out with us. We all prayed about it and are so glad we chose this place for my mom. She had had multiple strokes and needed extra care. These are hard decisions one has to make for their family members and it makes it much easier when there are places like this one. When she arrived she couldn’t walk but with the wonderful physical therapy team she made good improvements. The care she received was of the upmost importance, the staff treated her and everyone else like family. They don’t have jobs there, they have answered a calling and it’s very evident. It never mattered what time I called to check on my mom, everyone was so helpful and ready to help me. If you find that you are in need of theses services, choose Beaumont Health Care Center and be assured that your loved one will be receiving the very best care like they are their family.

My Mother in law has been at this facility since June 13th and it has been a great experience for us. She needed rehab for a broken tailbone. Every person we encountered were friendly, attentive and if we asked for something she got it immediately. It's hard leaving a loved one in a nursing home but if she ever needs another one, we know where to go. Angel was literally quite that, she was there every step of the way and helped ease our minds. She was a God send! My Mother in law gets to come home today and her smile says it all, she was well taken care of and made good friends along the way!

We chose Beaumont Health Care Center for my 77-year-old mother after she had a short hospital stay from a fall to recover her strength and mobility. Everyone there worked together to make her 3 weeks stay a pleasant one. From the admin keeping me informed, the aides and nurses extremely attentive care, to physical therapy for being consistent and cheerfully supportive. The activities coordinator keeping her involved in activities instead of her just being left in her bed/room all day and down to the kitchen staff to ensure her diet plan was diabetic friendly. This facility may be older and smaller but don’t judge a book by its cover; what’s on the inside is what matters. All the staff inside this facility truly care about and willingly help the patients and it shows in the excellent care that was provided for my mother.

WS wonderful place and very kind and helpful

Since my review was removed, I will post it again.... My mother was admitted to Beaumont Health Care on December 24, 2025, following a serious fall. It took a full week for staff to contact my brother and me to begin the admissions paperwork. While we understand the holiday timing, medical admissions and family communication should not pause during that time. We participated in a care team meeting by phone since we do not live locally. During that meeting, we were assured that we could call anytime for updates and that staff would proactively communicate with us regarding our mother’s care. We were also told that when her cell phone arrived, staff would ensure it was added to the nightly charging routine, as she has mid-stage dementia and would require reminders. My brother flew in from the East Coast to help get our mother settled and met with multiple staff members. During that visit, a power of attorney was established after we learned her dementia was progressing more rapidly than expected. One of the head nurses told both my brother (in person) and me (by phone) that documentation would be prepared confirming our mother’s cognitive incapacity to accompany the POA. Despite multiple follow-ups with administration and numerous emails, we never received that documentation. Communication became a consistent issue. Phone calls were often transferred and disconnected, and emails requesting updates frequently went unanswered. The only consistent communication we received was from the finance department regarding the Medicaid application. We were repeatedly asked to provide documentation, which we promptly submitted each time. However, it often felt as though the left hand was not communicating with the right. We were able to see the full email chain from the primary Medicaid representative (who was not located at the healthcare facility), and it appeared that forwarded messages and documentation were frequently lost in translation between departments. This created unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Our mother has since been transferred to a long-term memory care facility. During the transition, several personal belongings — including her cell phone — were lost. The phone (a Bark phone with tracking capability) shows its last known location at Beaumont. It was not included in transfer paperwork, and no one has been able to account for it. For families entrusting a facility with a loved one — especially someone with dementia — communication, follow-through, and accountability are essential. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility. Our mother’s new memory care facility now contacts us proactively several times a week with updates. That level of communication is what families should expect and deserve.

Absolutely amazing staff and patient care! Clean facility with fun activities and engagement with patients! Informative admin with a caring and knowledgeable approach!
