4.6 · 173 reviewsI have been so pleased with Brookdale, Dowlen Oaks. My father lived there for three years and he was so well cared for. He loved the staff and they treated him like family. I do not live close by and they gave me the confidence to keep my father there, rather than move him close to me. The memory care staff are amazing! I regularly recommend Brookdale, Dowlen Oaks when people ask me about a place for their loved ones.
I recently moved a family member into Brookdale Dowlen Oaks. The facility is warm, cheerful, welcoming, clean, well equipped and maintained throughout. The staff members are simply outstanding - they are friendly, caring, listen well, attentive, and strive to ensure the residents and their caregivers are well taken care of. Many of the staff members have been employees for more than 5 to 10 years. The nursing staff work well with outside health providers to build a comprehensive care team. Overall the family experience was outstanding. I have every confidence my family member will be well…

I recently moved a family member into Brookdale Dowlen Oaks. The facility is warm, cheerful, welcoming, clean, well equipped and maintained throughout. My Aunt passed away last month after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Every single person who works in the memory care unit made the process bearable. When I was sad they were always ready with kindness and understanding and a big hug when it was needed. I cannot tell them enough how grateful I am that they were there.

We toured Brookdale Dowlen Oaks. It's not quite as good as the others we visited. It was a smaller facility and it was a lot older. The staff was fine. She showed us around. It was a pretty quick tour. They didn't go into detail or anything. The hallways were a little dark and dreary.
Overall the experience has been great and the cleanliness is pretty good. The staff are wonderful and the quality of care is very good. Meals were great and flexibility of foods to fit mom's diet were fantastic. Mom did not really get into the activities. (Not facility fault). Best value in our area.
The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every family feels seen and that every resident feels at home!! I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a place for your loved one.
Brookdale Dowlen Oaks is a beautiful home away from home assisted living facility. The staff are always doing their best to make every resident and family member feel safe, comfortable and well taken care of. They greet everyone with a smile and work diligently to meet each resident and family’s needs. I ?? Brookdale!
Our mom had Alzhiemers and we were in need for a facility for her. They gave us a tour and the place is beautiful... Lucky fir us it was around lunch time and we're served lunch... food was amazing and they had beautiful music as well... Highly recommend!
