Renee the nurse is very disrespectful will discriminate against her employees if there is a problem she will not address it. She very non confrontational. I wish the best luck to her med techs she a two-faced.
When mom fell and broke her hip late February I needed to find a place fast for her rehabilitation. Brookdale North Richland Hills bent over backwards to help us get her a room that she could move into quickly with very little hassle. Mom loves all the people who work there and so do I. They treat us like family. Their newly remodeled building is beautiful as well as functional. Brookdale has helped take so much stress off of me in order to help mom get the temporary care that she needs.
Staff have been very welcoming, kind and supportive.
Brookdale North Richland Hills only had 25 independent living, and then they were mostly assisted living, and I didn't care for that. The independent living residents live in cottages and they have to walk to the main facility, so if it's inclement weather, if it's raining, if it's cold, you're probably not going to walk there. It was very quiet, which I didn't care for. There weren't a lot of people out and about. I decided against it, even though I fell in love with the cottage. It had some downsides. Stephanie was very, very sweet and very attentive. The common areas were nice, but they were empty. They didn't have as many activities as some of the other places did.
My father has been in Brookdale Assisted Living in Richland Hills for several months. The care he has received has been great. I told them when he was admitted that he would not leave his room, but they have gotten him out to eat and now he is participating in games and exercising. He had to have surgery, and we put him in rehab at a different facility. He was miserable and was not improving, so we moved him back to Brookdale. He is now able to use his walker and is participating in activities again. He is happy. What has surprised me the most is how much they care. When he was in the hospital and rehab, they were calling to check on him and even came to see him. They helped all of us during a rough time.
We needed a place for my grandpa and this place truly felt like home, at first visit! Everyone is super welcoming, friendly, and genuinely care for one another! From the staff to the residents, Brookdale NRH has been a perfect for us! I’m thankful for the activities that keep these residents going and the smiling faces you’ll encounter, daily.
We had to make decisions quickly on where to place mom. [name removed]made it easy and worked with us on having all information to make that decision. Even better when we had to place mom in hospice they work with a program that my childhood friend works for. That made the decision so much easier as well.
Brookdale has been an amazing place for my mom. After living in the same home for 50 years, she needed a little extra help with her medications, meals and someone to check on her. The transition was so smooth….everyone is so friendly and helpful! My mother loves the food and has made friends. They are quick to call if she needs anything and make sure she has everything she needs. Highly recommend Brookdale North Richland Hills.
