Cariad is not what we were told it was. My mother doesn't eat certain foods. We were assured they would have items for her to eat. They never had fresh fruit or vegetables. She has lived on items I ordered from Walmart. Not very healthy. On 5/22/23 we were told they are closing the facility and we had to be out by 6/22/23. Very stressful situation. This review won't help anyone in the future except that they have a parent company that still runs other facilities. Plano Op LLC. A management company SRI management Southwest. I will never do business with these companies. We also had problems…

This review won't help anyone in the future except that they have a parent company that still runs other facilities. Plano Op LLC. A management company SRI management Southwest. I will never do business with these companies. We also had problems with the director Seth Hodges. He was rude and had a short temper. Not good for elderly people. Most of the staff were wonderful. Especially the front desk and the medication nurses. They have to find new employment. Thank God we found a non-profit, faith based facility. I did not realize all the services that were missing at Cariad until I saw our new facility. I pray for all of those affected by this situation. God bless!!!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Cariad at Village was nice. It was older, but it was clean and nice. From the lady, to the nurse, to the staff member, they were very, very nice, and she was sweet. She would follow up several times to make sure everything was OK. She even gave my mom a little birthday gift. I thought that was sweet. She knew my mom's birthday, so when I went over there she showed me the room that my mom would have. And when you opened the door, there were some balloons, and there was a little container where they had one cupcake, a big, big cupcake. I thought that was very sweet of her to do that. I know…

I know some of them were playing. At the time when I went, they were already eating. They looked clean and the food looked like any food that you eat at home. The place smelled good, looked good, and they were eating. It didn't look like they didn't enjoy the food, and they were talking to each other.
I absolutely LOVE this job. The staff here are amazingly respectful & they care so much for the residents here at Cariad. They make sure that the residents feel at home. They provide all residents with the best care! I would personally say that the residents here are spoiled. Staff answers to every call & always provided them with what’s needed & what’s requested. All the residents are very friendly and respectful.I’ve never had a job I loved so much. Everyday I look forward to coming to work. Seth & Robin are terrific, they accepted me with open arms & welcoming spirits. From the 1st day I started here I felt at home. They care for their staff as much as they care for their residents. They are pretty flexible & understanding of your life situations. If you’re looking for a comfortable, drama free, respectful job this is the place for you. And if you’re looking for a comfortable, safe, secure & welcoming/loving home for your loved ones. This is the best place for them. I highly recommend Cariad!
I like the staff at Cariad at Village Creek, and I like that the place was immaculate. I like that the rooms or studios were very spacious and sunny. There's a nurse on the floor at all times, and they have doctor visits once a week. The place is not very fancy, but it really looks like it's well-run and well-kept. Amy, the sales director over there, is terrific. They wanted to invite us into the dining room, but we declined because we had another appointment.
This is such an amazing facility I could have asked for a better facility for my dad. The staff goes out of their way to make sure to that their clients are well taken care of and they always are there for the families and give us peace of mine. Especially in this time with covid-19 still make sure that we get to talk to them. The staff even let the clients Skype with the family. This is such an amazing facility. I have never had another facility go out of their way to make sure I talked to my dad. Even though I live 3 hours away they still make sure I can see him even if it's through Skype. Words cannot express how much I am grateful for this place. It was the best decision my family made.
The Team & Care Concept make both the Mckinney & Plano communities a wonderful place!
Cariad at Village Creek has been taking good care of my mom for 3 1/2 years. The facility has recently been refurbished and a new memory care unit at or near opening. The caring, competent, and cosmopolitan staff are responsive to requests for assistance and have successfully limited COVID-19 risk at the facility.
