I have had the opportunity to partner with Paul and Senior Living Specialists for well over a decade, and throughout that time, I have consistently seen the difference they make for seniors, families, and senior living communities. Paul has built an organization centered on trust, compassion, and truly understanding the individual needs of each family. Navigating senior living can feel overwhelming, and his team has a way of making the process more manageable, personal, and thoughtful. From the community side, I have always appreciated the professionalism, communication, and partnership they bring. They understand that a successful placement is about much more than finding availability. It is about finding the right fit and creating the right connection between the senior, the family, and the community. After well over a decade of working together, I can confidently recommend Paul and Senior Living Specialists to families seeking guidance and to senior living communities looking for a trusted referral partner. Their commitment to serving seniors with integrity and compassion has remained consistent year after year.
Dorianne was very efficient. She responded to all of our families needs, texts and calls very quickly and promptly. She was very upbeat and positive and it was apparent that she wanted to help my mom find a new home/ community. Dorianne also was very well versed with the different senior living facilities around the Texas area and made several appointments for my mom to tour the senior homes. We had an amazing experience with Senior Living Specialists. Tim & Jill were so helpful in a very difficult time as we were moving my father to assisted living and inevitably memory care. Tim gave me several options and set up interviews for the facilities. We were up against a very tight timeline so time was of the essence. They were also very helpful and referred me to another firm as well to help with VA benefits as my father is a veteran and never received any help from the VA. Call them! They were life savers and we are forever grateful for their patience and kindness.

Paul is wonderful to work with. He has found 4 of my love ones and friends the perfect place for all kinds of level of care and dementia . I cant begin to tell you the peace that comes when working with Paul to find the perfect place for my love one. He gave us the names of places to go visit and almost all could fit our needs. Everytime we knew which one fit are love one best. Paul placed my father-in-law over 10 years ago and just yesterday, he placed my friend into a wonderful memory care facility. He listens to your needs. One more note in the 4 placements that Paul has directed us to each one of those facilities, the manager has said they love working with Paul and talked about his professionalism and highly regarded his knowledge of the industry. Thank you Paul, again!!!!!
Paul and his team did an outstanding job helping us navigate the process of finding an assisted living facility for my mom. This was completely uncharted territory for our family, but Paul immediately put us at ease. He took the time to answer our questions, explain the process, and, most importantly, equip us with the right questions to ask each facility. His knowledge, compassion, and guidance gave us confidence during what could have been a very overwhelming experience. We are so grateful for his help and would highly recommend Paul and his team to anyone facing this journey with a loved one.
Dorianne and Senior Living Specialist are fantastic! She previously helped me with my mother's transition to assisted living, and most recently to memory care. On both occasions, she provided me a list of properties to tour that were within my budget, provided me notes on these properties, and was a great partner in providing me valuable thoughts & insights with her knowledge of the properties. Dorianne scheduled visits for me and negotiated rates on our behalf. She was very communicative and always available throughout the process. Most importantly, she remained patient with me as I worked through a prolonged a critical decision making process with my mom's care. I am indebted to Dorianne and Senior Living Specialists and I would highly recommend them as you think about next steps for your loved one.
We worked with Matt Grider. He was amazing! From the first conversation, we felt so much relief that someone could help us navigate the many options available and questions we didn't even know we would have. He even went to visit our Mom in rehab before she moved to Assisted Living. Friendly, gentle conversations like that go a LONG way in helping reassure a senior.
Dorianne is wonderful and only presents possibilities like it’s her own family. High praise! We found the best loving place for my dad.
