spent a lot of time visiting my parents at Silvermark Memory Care last week, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this memory care community. Because it is a smaller facility, the level of personalized care and attention is truly unmatched. The staff is incredibly compassionate, patient, and kind to everyone living there. The owners are highly hands-on and immediately available to help with anything we need, and the front desk team is always incredibly welcoming and personable. During my visit, it was so reassuring to watch the activity coordinators actively encouraging residents to participate in crafts, games, and short walks outside. As an extra-special touch, they allowed my mother to keep her small dog, Tasha, with her. Tasha has quickly become a beloved favorite among the Residents. I highly recommend this place!

She truly cares for each resident and pours her heart into supporting families through what can often be a difficult journey. Her dedication creates an environment where residents feel valued and families feel supported. The caregivers and team members—including Amari, Bri, Jazmin, and Kyselene—are exceptional. They are always engaged with the residents and their families, bringing patience, warmth, and joy to every interaction. You never get the sense that they’re simply doing a job. Instead, they are committed to enhancing each resident’s quality of life with dignity, respect, and genuine affection. I also believe this culture of excellence starts at the top. Owners Nik and Dee have created an organization where the promises made to families are truly honored. Their commitment to maintaining high standards is reflected in every member of the team and in the exceptional care their residents receive. Silvermark is a place where families can have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are surrounded by people who truly care. That kind of heartfelt dedication is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.
Silvermark has been an incredible place for my dad. The level of care, compassion and attention from the entire team and treating him like family, has given us so much peace of mind during a challenging time. One thing that makes Silvermark especially unique and I love about them is that it’s family-owned, and the owners are actively involved. They’re approachable, and always available. I feel this makes a huge difference compared to other communities, where most of the time feedback or complaints would not go higher up. Also, ED here is really amazing. Carrie Bell is awesome. Knowledgeable , caring and goes above and beyond to help
My dad is so happy and appreciative of the love and care he receives at Silvermark. He loves and is thankful to everyone. The owners and staff are very compassionate and committed to the family and residents care and wellbeing. We are truly blessed and thankful for having peace of mind by being surrounded with such wonderful caregivers and facility, in this sometimes difficult stage in life.
This place has exceeded my expectations on many levels. My sister suffered a TBI after being hit by a car last year. She is only 52 years old so finding a memory care faciity that met her needs was a challenge. Silvermark is bright, the staff is always happy, and they keep the residents busy with activities. The most important note to mention is this is a privately owned facility. Nik, the owner and his wife are onsite all the time, nearly every time I've been there. They care about the residents. This isn't a major corporation, it's a owned and managed by people who really care.
It was a difficult choice to make once my Mom required around-the-clock care. Silvermark is just off the tollway in Plano, but in a quiet, country setting. My Mom is happy and very well cared for. The care providers and management team look after more than just her physical well-being, but they spend time to know her. They look through her photo albums with her and learn her history. They communicate any issues I may need to know about. It’s privately owned, which is a plus after touring other corporately run facilities that had already changed hands during the time I was looking. The owners know all the residents and are active in their daily care. The staff is great too. I called Kathy at the front desk three times one day while planning the move and she was able to answer all my questions without having to “check with the board of directors.” My Mom has been at Silvermark a couple months now and I am fully convinced this was the best decision. For my Mom and for our whole family.
We looked at several facilities for my mother-in-law, but there was no comparison once we found Silvermark. The rooms are spacious, and she was able to keep her own furnishings. She can watch TV in the common area or retreat to her own room to watch her Netflix favorites. But the heart and soul of Silvermark are the people. The employees show compassion and excellence in everything they do. They truly care, letting us know any changes, accomplishments, ups or downs in Mom’s daily activities. They’re personally involved, which made this transition so much easier than expected. Silvermark feels like home
