I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility for the care of a loved one. I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility for the care of a loved one. During my mother’s time under their care, I became aware of serious issues involving how her prescribed asthma medication was being handled. On the morning of the incident, at approximately 6:24 AM, I received a call from a family member confirming that her medication was not being administered at the correct intervals. Shortly afterward, my mother suffered a fatal asphyxiation event, and efforts to revive her were unsuccessful. The circumstances surrounding her care raise deeply troubling questions about medication management, adherence to medical instructions, and the overall standard of care provided. In situations involving vulnerable individuals, even small deviations can have irreversible consequences. This experience has had devastating and permanent consequences for my family. I have formally reported this matter and requested an investigation. If you are considering this facility, I strongly urge you to ask detailed questions, closely monitor your loved one’s care, and not assume that protocols are being followed without verification.
The only time and barely do anything is when states in the building...management here is not good at all...here for money feel bad for the residents!!
I had to pick up a friend from here and Some of the staff and housekeeping were rude and disrespectful. He himself said it was a horrible experience and he will not be returning.
The facility is very clean, the residents and staff are very friendly.
I had a fantastic stay here! I enjoyed everything about it from the staff to everyone I met. It was overall a really good experience! I definitely would refer this facility to anyone needing Nursing & rehabilitation care. I definitely would & will come back to this wonderful facility. Thank you everyone at Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all that you did for me and making me feel like home.
Thanks for treating my son Jacob so well . Very nice place ..very clean . Always on time giving his medicines.. and also explaining why needed certain new medicines. The food was good . I like the fact they gave my son choices for his food preferences..You guys rock .. Especially Lesile Lopez..Michelle the head nurse . You guys were awesome..the night nurse also. She was amazing. . Thanks for everything. We will return if needed in the future..👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
The care my grandmother received from this facility was not great. Way understaffed for the amount of admitted patients and very undertrained staff in emergency situations.
I have had a family member here for a little over six months. Although I didn't want to transfer him from another nursing facility, I needed him closer to home. This facility made the transition seamless, and the care has been just as great as the previous facility.
