3.7 · 87 reviewsThe facility is clean and smells nice. They have a full calendar of daily activities and you see a lot of residents out roaming the halls, which is nice. No funny smells. Social worker Althea Is absolutely amazing and you can just tell that she loves the resudents as she stops to talk to everyone. Great job downtown health and rehab!
My family member lives in memory care unit-about a year. Lots of sad looking, sedentary or wandering folks & highly medicated. VERY disorganized way w laundry! 🧺 They wash, store & hang all clothes in 1 room on 1 clothes rack! They give residents other people’s clothes-which don’t fit w many food stains. They don’t use residents own closets for safekeeping. Even if residents’ clothes are labeled, still often lost or stolen…😡 Hard to find staff or they’re always sitting in dining room. All female staff. Very little planned activities. No library. Only smoke breaks. High staff stress, burnout…

Such an amazing facility! It’s obvious they care about their residents. The building is clean and well cared for!

Very nice friendly staff , and great care .
I recently visited this facility and the staff were very friendly and kind. I took a personal tour with the SW Althea. I never knew this facility was so big on the inside. After the tour I met with the administrator Christy and was able to learn alot more about the facility. I would recommend this facility. It was clean and the residents looked happy.
Great experience visiting Downtown Health and Rehab. Super clean, welcoming, and it’s obvious the building is running very well. Staff were attentive and engaged with residents. Professional staff and happy residents. Highly recommend.
