DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE! They were supposed to be ‘rent controlled’, but are anything but. My rent has been hiked way up, and I can understand inflation, but this is criminal for seniors living on a fixed income. I’m livid!!!!

What advertises itself as a reasonably- priced senior community with income restrictions, the Evergreen at Plano’s rents keep going up substantially with every lease renewal. Sometimes as much as $75.00 a month. A one bedroom, 700 sq ft, apartment is over a [amount removed] a month. Not for those on a small, fixed income.

My mom is at Evergreen at Plano. She has been there for three years now. It seems like a nice place. She loves it. She loves her apartment. The people are nice. She enjoys it there. She has met a lot of nice people. They seem to have a lot going on. It's convenient for me. The staff is kind of another story, they seem to overturn quite often. They've got all new staff in there, so I don't know anybody that's in there now. They do turn their staff over very quickly it seems, sadly, but that does happen. They have a lot of games, they have the bingo, and they have different card games and stuff…

They have a lot of games, they have the bingo, and they have different card games and stuff that you can play. There seem to be a lot of different activities that she can go to, although she doesn't go, but I'm hoping she will. It's the cheapest one we could find that is good. Everything is just getting so expensive. So I would say it's a good value for what you get. My mom got a two-bedroom apartment. The apartment is nice. It's got an elevator in the facility because she is on the fourth floor.

Very reasonably priced. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I would rate this complex a 5 except the noise level between floors is terrible. The floors squeak and creak . . . I can hear my neighbor above me whenever she walks in her apartment. They offer a wide variety of activities for everyone.

I'm very happy with Evergreen at Plano. Everything is kept up beautifully, including the lawn. Maintenance is wonderful. I have a big apartment and I'm very pleased with it. The staff is very nice, professional, and helpful. There's chair yoga three times a week, card games, you can get lunches brought in five days a week if you want to purchase lunch, and in the summer they have water aerobics in the saltwater pool.

Evergreen at Plano is wonderful. The people who live here are great. The apartments are roomy and well maintained. The value is very good. It is an affordable place for seniors. I'm paying $7 more a month for a two-bedroom, two-bath than I would for a regular one-bedroom, one-bath out in the real world. The staff is wonderful too. If you have a problem, they take care of it very quickly. They have Wii bowling, yoga, aerobics, card games, and birthday parties.

Evergreen at Plano was really lovely. There is a waiting list, but we are going to apply there. They did not have any open rooms at that point; they were all occupied, so I was not able to see them, but I saw the floor plans. They have something going on almost all of the time. Every day, they have planned activities like games, Bible studies, and things like that. The staff was really helpful. You could ask any question you wanted, and the appearance of it was just really impressive.

I like this place. It is really reasonably priced too. I have my name on the waiting list, and it was a plus that there was no deposit to get on the waiting list.
