Granbury Rehab & Nursing

When I first learned that I was headed to a rehab and nursing facility, I was apprehensive to say the least. I have been here for six months now and I can say that everyone here is a rock star. My morning nurse, Amanda has been a God send as have Misty, Valentina, Brandon, Sherry and every nurse who has taken care of me. The nurses aides are also amazing. Kayla, Hayley, Heather, Stephanie, Kareem and Dalia have all worked very hard for me. The folks who work in the office are fantastic. Amy, Stephanie, Rindy and Melanie are all very hard working but not so hard working that they don’t remember to stop and give each resident a friendly smile and ask how you are doing. Same goes for Danelle who works in transportation and Jill, activities director. Physical therapy is the best in the business. I have been NPO for nearly a year. Madison, SLP, has spent many hours working with me in an effort to regain my swallow. Morgan, Maralee and Mike are the OTs. Each one has helped me develop a love for cooking while the PTs are just as impressive. Not that it is required, but just this morning, I was able to walk a mile with my upwalker, thanks (to the other) Madison. The DON, Andi, and the two ADONs, Linda and Amanda, always have a smile and encouraging word for me. And the residents will always hold a special place in my heart. I call them grandma, auntie and cousin. My experience here has been wonderful. If you are looking for a place where your relative will feel important and loved, Avir at Paluxy is your answer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this nursing facility. The staff is caring, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well-being of every resident. From the nurses and caregivers to the administrative team, everyone goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment.

The new owners have cut cost across the board and lowered quality of care. I spent a week without meds and in pain.

I’m excited about the new leadership and new name of this long-trusted care facility in Granbury. I have found the staff to be exceptional, happy to learn you are keeping these dedicated care providers.
