She loved a couple of the staff members, but some were downright horrible, and I think she was assaulted (of course it was too late to make a report and she was too confused to talk by then). They barely let us know what was going on, and when we would try to call no one would tell us anything. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone at night. The food (by her report) was terrible. She was lucky to make it out of there alive.
Father in law spent 3 weeks at HH of Keller. He said the aides/ nurses were real nice and the therapist was nice. Being a diabetic was challenging here. Inconsistent blood sugar checks and inconsistent medication administration times. Would receive insulin after he ate instead of before. Thankfully he wore a glucose monitor and would call us when his sugar was close to 400 and we would run up there to see that it was addressed. Getting a call light answered took an act of congress. Maybe short staffed? No diabetic diet offered and he rarely received what he actually ordered to eat. On 2…

Thankfully he wore a glucose monitor and would call us when his sugar was close to 400 and we would run up there to see that it was addressed. Getting a call light answered took an act of congress. Maybe short staffed? No diabetic diet offered and he rarely received what he actually ordered to eat. On 2 separate nights, his protein was one small chicken wing. He got breathing treatments but never would come back to remove nebulizer mask. There was no communication with the family in the form of a care conference, etc. the only time we received a call was when I requested to speak to someone and they did respond and they were nice. The best thing was that it was close to our house so we could run over easily to see him.
Elba yanez is the most special person and CNA, she shows sincerity in her work, is gentle and patient, gives thorough care, looks out for everyone’s safety, and is very kind. She transported me from my home to Heritage House of Keller and was so good at getting me on the van and off the van and to my room. I can not say enough wonderful and good things about her and her exceptional work. I am an RN and have been a DON at several SNF and rehab facilities and I would hire many aides and caregivers that had her personality work ethics . She is the BEST PERSON AND CNA. Elba yanez is the most special person and CNA, she shows sincerity in her work, is gentle and patient, gives thorough care, looks out for everyone’s safety, and is very kind. She transported me from my home to Heritage House of Keller and was so good at getting me on the van and off the van and to my room. I can not say enough wonderful and good things about her and her exceptional work. I am an RN and have been a DON at several SNF and rehab facilities and I would hire many aides and caregivers that had her personality work ethics . She is the BEST PERSON AND CNA. Elba was a great driver. The first time she picked me up to bring me here I was very impressed with the way she drove the big van. She is a very cautious and careful driver that seem to know her job very well. She hooked me up and disconnected me like a pro. She is a very sweet and caring person. Linda Dixson Room #114

My wife spent a little over a month here for rehab after falling and breaking her femur. Picking a rehab facility from a list of five in a day’s time is stressful and you never know what you’ll get. I’ve seen some bad ones while caring for my 95 year old mother. I can say that I made the right choice. My wife also has Alzheimer’s which made her stay more difficult than normal. Everyone there from the top execs to the head nurses to the physical therapists were kind, cheerful and always helpful, even with her needing special attention. When pushing her call button, they always responded promptly. The food was not gourmet of course but was good. When leaving, she was anxious to go home but sad that she’ll miss all the people there. Special thanks to Yolanda, the 2 to 10 PM head nurse for all her special attention.
Okay here's another violation I've had my call Button activated for over 45 minutes Nobody's come to my room This is a serious matter What about other residents you might need immediate attention within 5 minutes A Great aide is Louise she is very kind and caring and efficient for example she gave the best bed bath I've ever had better than anyone else had given me I hope management recognizes her for her efforts! Requesting extra tea It's always something around here I'm going to continue To post To better someone else's experience I believe someone could seriously see this place if something happened to somebody because of their negligence regarding call button reaction time!!!!!!! Minus 100 on review status Beware I would like to add aide named Louise does a good job But she speaks in a weird language hard to understand her and her request!!!! Dolly is an exceptional aide and goes above and beyond her dutys Also add Alana My night time aide She's overworked But does a good job overall Caleb is excellent and performs his job well Very dedicated!! Also a great shout out for Rosemary the nurse who has a great attitude and does her job ❤️🩹 Job well Done 👍 Also Jasmine and Anna In physical therapy Are very dedicated passionate and patient employees who should be rewarded for their performance Also mention Neal in physical therapy for his compassion And enthusiasm Great job Neal 👍
