I was supposed to go there they denied me financially at first was understandable cause my medicaid was in renewal after getting that done I find out they won't take me cause I have a colostomy which I completely take care of myself. I tried calling a couple of times after my medicaid renewal went through and either got no answer or no call back now after seeing the reviews tonight I'll either what for housing assistance to get approved or go to another assisted living
Very friendly lovely place staff is very nice they have their own private rooms where they don't have to share but you can't have roommate if you'd like. Very helpful great location again wonderful staff
No one answers the phone. And alleyways are not roads do not do not do not follow GPS to this address
I hate it here
Worst assisted living ever, manager Tina is unprofessional, overworks her employees most employees work 18+ hour shifts no days off. DO NOT let your loved ones stay here.
My family member thrived under the care she has received. The staff has been friendly and responsive. We could not have found a better match for our deaf loved one, as there is a community of deaf clients in this facility. We want to thank each and every staff member, from front desk to food service to skilled staff, thank you.
I would give zero stars if i could this place is run down and the residents arent taken care of. The staff doesnt care and the manager is worse than them and wouldnt let me speak to the owner about complaints i had that never got fixed over months. A lot of the good reviews are done by staff and the manager that work there.
Over the weekend I stopped by Heritage Square Assisted Living @ 500 North Beach Street in Fort Worth, TX. Although I am not a family member I have a relationship with a client at that facility. The client suffers from severe case of cerebral palsy and has little to no use of his legs due to his condition. This facility is a human warehouse for disabled people. Due to his severe disability my wife and I bought him a Jassy electric wheel chair. When we delivered it the manager of the facility told me that mobility chairs were not allowed even if there was no cost involved. The excuse I got is that clients run the wheel chairs into walls or doors and cause damage, and although there are clients using them at their facility I was told they were grandfathered in and they have banned future use of electric wheel chairs in the facility. I am very disappointed with this facility and would like all with loved ones not to abandon them and to be an advocate them. I live in Colorado and visit 5 to 6 times per year. Each time I have stopped there I have found that the facility apartments were not clean. The facility sits on Beach Street, a major road in Fort Worth, but there are NO Sidewalks on the street and that makes pushing a wheel chair through a bar ditch impossible. So any outside trips out of the facility need to be provided by Heritage Square, that’s if the bus is not broken down or if the driver is available; this is also a great way to issue tickets to the clients and charge the state for the clients ride to Walmart. They do not want the clients to have any better life styles or mobility this cuts into profits. Most reading this have love ones that are handicapped. Please Please! Research and make a sound judgement call before using Heritage Square. Deaf Service Incorporated needs to be ashamed of themselves on their participation with this human warehouse. Do not expect Deaf Incorporated to advocate for your love ones, I was under that impression and believe that they are actually in bed with the facility. I don’t believe that there will be changes to this facility so as previously stated, do your homework and check this place out before placing a family member or love one here. Do some weekday unexpected visits to Heritage Square, ask to see client rooms and you will see these are not false claims here. Stop in at lunch or dinner see what is provided for them. Maybe with some pressure from families, they will clean up their act.
