Knopp Retirement Center

My nana is a current resident there and the staff at Knopp’s has made this transition beyond amazing. When you watch terrible diseases take over the people you love, the pain is beyond words. The only thing that has made it bearable is this facility. Everyday there are activities. Everyday the employees treat my nana as if she were their family. Everyday they take care of her. They really take care of her. There are no weird smells. Everything is extremely clean and organized. I couldn’t imagine her being anywhere else. Thank you to this facility for being the angels we didn’t know we needed.

My Mother was a resident there , prior to her death. Her room was spacious with a large closet. The housekeepers kept the area clean and fresh. The food was delicious in ample amounts! The staff worked well together to ensure that Mother’s needs were met. The Director interacted with the residents and their families frequently. There were many, varied activities in which the residents could participate. There were special events in which families were invited. Family input was encouraged. Mother was on Hospice Services; the staffs of both entities worked together to keep her comfortable, for which I will always be grateful. I have recommended Knopp Retirement Center to others, and I will continue to do so.

The whole staff at Knopp are kind, friendly and so helpful with all the needs for my Dad. He is very happy here and our family appreciate all they do and we say a big Thank You!!

Best retirement center in the Texas Hill Country! Local family-owned for generations! Very quiet atmosphere, delicious meals, and the belief and practice that employees are there in the homes of the clients. I love that! My older aunt is there temporarily, but I would love her to stay since I have so much peace and comfort knowing she is cared for so well!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s never an easy decision to place your dad into a retirement home, but choosing Knopp was definitely a decision I do not regret. Danielle and her wonderful have staff taken excellent care of him. His health has actually improved since he has been there- yes IMPROVED…you don’t hear that too often! Very thankful for all they do for him- and they even let me play Bingo from time to time. If you’re looking for a family type environment for your loved one, look no further. They have broke the mold when it comes to typical retirement homes and are so much more to their residents.
