Not built as a true rehab facility for elderly hip replacement patients.
My mom was at Kruse for rehab for about 3 weeks. I am a LVN and I have worked at a few SNFs in the Houston area for over 21 years and worked with hospice, visiting numerous facility for 7 years. The staff at Kruse were very professional and caring. The facility is a little older, but well kept,.very clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. My mom has been in several facilities for short rehab stays past hospital admissions. She said that if it comes time to live in a facility, she would pick Kruse Village. Thank you to the staff for your wonderful care.
Talk to individual departments about concerns rather than director of AL. For example, if they are not putting out fresh fruit at the snack table like they should talk to the food department. Activities could have more of a variety. Mom is much happier here than at her previous facility.
Excellent Experience. The entire staff. Very Professional, Caring, Encouraging. My Husband stayed in the rehab facility for about 30 days. IWe couldn't have asked for a better place. I could go on and on about the Excellent Care from all departments. Definitely Recommend. ❤️
We toured Kruse Village. It was very clean and very affordable. They were spacious enough, and we looked at the cottages. We were totally satisfied with what we saw. It's just that we're not ready to go yet. They had a dining room and workout room, which would have been sufficient for us.
My loved one was in rehab for a week. After 3 visits they said no visitors due to Covid. They sent him home with his arm all marked up from a fall, and a fungus around his catheter. I would not recommend Kruse to anyone. I know there are happy people there that buy/ rent rooms and homes. However when you put your loved one in for care (that they don’t ended up receiving). Come on, if their bathing/cleaning them… how did he come home with fungus that he did not have prior to going to kruse? That lazy lazy people. Also I don’t want to hear about short staff, that’s kruse’s decision on how many people are hired. 🤔
Mom stayed at the skilled nursing rehab wing of the facility for over a month. She came out 100% better than when she first arrived. Julie and staff provided excellent care.
Thank you. We had a very good experience at Kruse. The staff took wonderful care of my mother in-law for over a month. She is rehabilitated and ready get back to her life. We are very pleased.
