Resident & family reviews

Took my Father out of there after about 10 days. They make great promises, but never follow thru.

I personally love the Management team, The Staff Team and all the other workers that keep smiles on my mothers face and on other patients in the facility, everyone helps me when I need something done for my mother or gets the right person to make it happen, as long as my mother is happy I am happy as well, thank yall for all you do.

The staff at Lampstand always took great care of my grandma. They work very hard to make sure that patient care is top priority. Great Place!

My grandma lived here and she loved the place and the people. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and inviting during each visit and made us, the family, feel at peace.

My husband’s grandma spent a couple of years here. She enjoyed the company of the other residents and the staff. The facilities are clean and neat.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES TO LAMPSTAND NURSING AND REHABILITATION OF BRYAN, TEXAS. This place is a nightmare for the elderly. No proper bed rails for patients who clearly need them, and basic safety seems to be ignored. Vulnerable people are left at risk in a place that is supposed to protect them. My late grandmother stayed here for less than a week, and during that time her hand became horribly swollen. She was removed shortly after because of the condition she was in. Currently, my elderly cousin is under this facility’s care and has had several accidents involving falls. That alone should be enough to raise serious concerns about resident safety. This facility feels like neglect, not care. It honestly feels like hell all in one building. The conditions and lack of attention to safety are unacceptable, and the people placed here deserve far better than this. If you love your family, do not leave them here. This place should be investigated and held accountable. The city needs to take a serious look at what is happening inside this facility. This place does not deserve to have beautiful souls in their care.

I would like to write a review for Odalys Garcia. I've had the honor of knowing her and what she does here. She is one of the most remarkable, and valued employees that Lampstand has. She is in charge of the Business Office where so much is done for 75 or 80 long-term residents like myself. Being a single Mom and having the ability to have the care and concern for each one of us here. It's not unusual to see the lights on in her office when everyone else has gone home just to make sure all the needs and concerns are met so us as residents don't have to worry about the things that nursing homes take care of. If she isn't in her office during the day, she is out in the facility checking on us to make sure we are ok. That means a lot to us here. She always has a smile on her face, and a glow about her that is what makes her so unique and someone that probably doesn't get told how much she is needed and couldn't be replaced, even now with AI. I could go on and on about the employees here at Lampstand, they are all special ladies and guys that work here, I am thankful that God has brought them together as a team to work together to insure we live our lives to the fullest with the smiles and the care and concern they all give, but today I am writing this review to give Odalys Garcia the recognition She has earned.

I had to come here because I had a fall and required we rehab. I didn't want to come. When I arrived the staff was so friendly and caring that it made my staying there very comfortable. The rehab was outstanding and I ended up improving and able to return home.
