If you're looking for a place that won't return your calls, even after they say they will, then you've found your place. Seems like a nice facility, but management can't be bothered to call you back.
The leadership team leads with heart, ensuring every decision puts the residents first. Their genuine care is reflected in the thoughtful attention and respect given to each individual who calls this place home.
The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming, and the staff are so kind and loving. The several holiday events for the residents always leave a smile on their face and that is truly a blessing.
My mom lived here for 2 years (she passed away last month) and they always took good care of her and truly cared about her and each resident. I saw it first-hand because I was here for hours 4-5 days a week on average. I always felt at peace about leaving to go home because I knew they would take good care of my mom! Peace of mind is like gold! That's what they offer here. The food was mostly good (yes, I tasted it) but no options to choose from. However, I did see them get protein shakes, fruit, yogurt, etc. for people who just didn't like what was being served that day. I never saw any of the employees lose their tempers at all. During the end of the 1st year my mom lived here, we did have an issue with a night-time employee. My mom didn't like her and she obviously didn't like my mom (saw it on Ring video of my mom's room). When I brought the issue up with the house manager, it was addressed immediately. I always felt like they had my mom's care as a priority. Bottom line... Magnolia (Plano) is a good place for those with memory issues and if my mom was still alive, she would still be living here!
Magnolia Assisted Living and Memory Care in Plano is truly a gem. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and genuine care that the staff provides. The environment is not only clean and beautifully maintained but also feels like home — safe, peaceful, and full of heart. A special shoutout to Savannah, the house manager, whose leadership and compassion set the tone for the entire community. She goes above and beyond to make sure each resident is treated with dignity, kindness, and individualized attention. You can tell she genuinely cares — and that attitude radiates through the entire staff. It’s comforting to know there’s a place like Magnolia where families can trust their loved ones are not just cared for, but truly loved.
