My mom has been at Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past 17 months. I would definitely recommend this rehab center. Food is always on time, attention is good. Most of the nurses and CNAs are very kind and attentive to my mom's needs. I would like to strongly recognize the great job of nurses Ruby, Aimee, Alejandra, Sharlene and her son Karl and the excellent job o CNas Minerva, Moises, Rafita,.Martha and Maribel who are always attending residents with a smile.
This place is great if you want the bare minimum care for your loved ones. My grandma stays here and her restroom is always dirty, always smells like pee, and the paper towels/toilet paper is empty at times. When visiting my grandma, she has had random cuts, sometimes has no pull up on, or isn’t changed when her pull up is full, which makes it evident they aren’t watching the residents properly. There has been a visible difference in care between the day and night staff. The day staff appears to be lazy and they keep the residents in the living room while they sit on the counter and stay on…
This place is great if you want the bare minimum care for your loved ones. The day staff appears to be lazy and they keep the residents in the living room while they sit on the counter and stay on their phones instead of properly watching or engaging with the residents. They also have a bunch of staff in the locked unit during the day, yet only leave ONE staff member there at night with over 10 residents. Very sad to see that sometimes one person is alone and responsible for multiple residents, rather than having at least 2 or 3 staff members present. There are quite a few night staff that actually seem to care for the residents and properly do their job, yet I notice they get no praise compared to the day staff who are constantly glued to their phones. The few staff members that perform well at their job are often mistreated by the administration and other staff, which is sad to say. My family has made multiple complaints/requests that are either ignored, not granted, or heavily delayed. Let’s not forget that they NEVER answer the phone either!! If you try to reach this place, they will never answer the phone so good luck if it’s an emergency. This place needs to do better and the administrator needs to make change too. They receive lots of money from the residents’ rent, yet they never have money to fix things or provide for them. I would recommend a place that offers better care if you can afford it.
Enjoyed my time here with the staff in 700 hall. I’ve met two vey nice people Reyna and Amy have helped me during my time here. Along with the other nursing staff. Therapy has also been good. They have a good therapy department.
04/26/26 It’s been extremely difficult to reach the nurses’ station on weekends at this facility. We’ve tried to remain patient, but my mother—who is currently a patient there—has now been missed twice when it comes to receiving her meals, like today’s lunch. That is unacceptable. I’ve called the nurses’ station multiple times and no one answers. It’s very frustrating that I have to call my mother on her cell phone and ask her to use the nurse call device, so I can speak to someone. And even then it takes an extremely long time for a CNA or nurse to respond to her room. Additionally, the amount of time it takes for a patient to be changed(diaper) is also unacceptable. These issues need to be addressed promptly, I will be making a complaint to the state.
Estamos muy contentos con este lugar, no la hemos pasado muy bien. Siempre estan atentos de mi esposo, y nos preguntan cada rato si nos falta algo. Estoy muy agradecida. Lo unico es la comida.
My wife is a current resident of this facility, and her mother was here for the last twelve years of her life. Her father was also here for a year. I have had extensive experience with Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The experience has been universally positive. The staff is friendly and patient, and does their best to relate with both residents and their relatives on a personal basis. The building is clean and neat, the laundry is done regularly, and the meals are delivered on a timely basis, as well as being quite palatable. In short, I feel very comfortable in the care that my loved ones have had, and continue to have. Recommended.
I recomend this nursing home for the care of your loved ones. Rehab department is great. Cna Cesar in 700 is just awesome, caring and hard working. Cassie and Natalie treatment nurses are very professional and caring. My aunt got well taken care of during her stay there and would definitely take her back. Needless to say the remodeling of the building is very nice. My mother was there a while back and we loved it too.
Wonderful staff!! I cannot say enough good things about the care, compassion and concern of the employees taking care of my mom. What a sense of relief knowing that she is receiving the best care possible! A special thank you to the caretakers (Amy, Liz, Yaya, Natalie, Ruby and Alma) that I encounter on an almost daily basis. Also, a big thank you to the Sylvia (Office Manager) for all of her assistance.
