We tried 3 memory care facilities and she was not well cared for, they were cold and impersonal and the staff was just "doing their job" - if that. Walking into the home environment at the Cottages is just that - a home, a family. The second I walked through the door, it noticed a huge difference. It smelled like a home, fresh food in the air, no "nursing home smell", every room had natural light and the residence were sitting around a table talking. What an amazing place! Moving my mother to Cottages was the best decision we've made. We tried 3 memory care facilities and she was not well cared for, they were cold and impersonal and the staff was just "doing their job" - if that. Walking into the home environment at the Cottages is just that - a home, a family. The second I walked through the door, it noticed a huge difference. It smelled like a home, fresh food in the air, no "nursing home smell", every room had natural light and the residence were sitting around a table talking. The owners are personally invested in personal relationships with everyone in the "family" there. They spend time in the homes, not as a outsider, but as part of the team of providers. They invest in current technology, best practices and the team has more time to spend caring for the family - personally. Be prepared to be impressed!
I met Yulia at an event and the care and professionalism they displayed is refreshing. They are one on my top choice.
I was so nervous about placing my elderly mom with dementia in any facility! I thought that my sister and I would be the only one that could take great care of her which we did until she became almost bedridden! We couldn’t lift her to give her the care she needed! I was so blessed to have found Our Cottage! They deserve every 5 star review! The team is amazing and they stay on top of everything from my mom’s care to all of the everyday tasks! I know my mom is safe and cared for which gives me so much happiness and peace! Thank you all so much!

I can’t say enough about Our Cottage. Even though my mother has only been there a short time the care she gets here far exceeds what she was getting in her previous home. From the owners to the caregivers, I feel at peace knowing she is in the care of Our Cottage. I highly recommend.
