Park Place has been phenomenal for my father. The entire staff from admissions to housekeeping have been exceptional. The nurses, CNA’a all are wonderful. We are about to start him on rehab here, but the two physical therapists have been very nice and answered our questions.
The new owners are working hard to make Park Place the best in Tyler. The administrative staff work well like a team and address any issues head on. The nurses are top notch and the CNAs work hard to to take care of the patients. I have to drive past several other nursing facilities to get to Park Place, but it’s worth the drive.
Our relative has been a resident at Park Place for 4 years. Since the new owners have arrived, my Mom, Anne Perales, and I cannot say enough how clean and professional this facility has become! Everyone( nurses, food technicians, administrators, etc.) make sure that every resident is loved and very well taken care of. You feel it and see it the moment you walk in. This is more of a HOME, then a nursing facility. God bless every person working at Park Place!!
My Dad is a rehab patient here. Everyone has been so kind and attentive to him. He is making friends with the staff and other patients. Our experience here has been completely positive so far.
Park Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility, (PPN&RF). LaTarsha, Receptionist was our GPS into the (PPN&RF). The below mentioned attended to my welfare during rehabilitation. Also with helping my family and I, with becoming familiar with the layout of the facility. These are the following reasons; Lynette, of Admission, had processed me in on the Monday following my arrival. She had assisted me with being connected to the right sources at the facility. Kendra, Staffing Coordinator. Oversees a team which has been very helpful in helping my rehabilitation to be an enjoyable and memorable experience. Mesa, the Dietary Director and Assistant: Maria, came to Rm. 110 West, to interview me, concerning any diet restrictions. The cooks: Pam, & assistant: Olisha, provided me with all of the food choices I had selected or adequate meal substitutes. Linda kept the coffee, tea, water, juice, and fruit on the table for breakfast. She trained others to take special care by providing everyone with sparkling clean silverware, glasses & cups for beverage of choice. The Dining Room Assistants were the CNAs, also training CNA: Olivia, and Kitchen asst. Demetrius. Everyone interacted with each resident with good mannerism, and proper etiquette. Michelle, the Nursing Director, and Candyce, her Assistant Director of Nurses, employed, and assigned quality medical staff: Tarsha, Brad, Laura, Colleen, had managed my medical & health needs. With Med Aides: Nettie, Carmilia & Cynthia Billington. All of the CNAs: Teka, Jayden, Mary, Michael, & Gary, are certified nursing aids, and very skilled with the “preventative management of aggressive behaviors”, and assisting or directing the residents to the assigned location. Colleen, the Physical Therapist: welcomed me into the “CHOICE” program. Which adequately, through various exercise techniques, assisted me with my rehabilitation and restore my confidence and balance. Her assistants, Marshall, and Stephen, OT, had provided each individual with enjoyable and musical therapy to motivate them during the group section. Occupational Asst:, Kenzie & Jennifer. Enlightened my eyes by displaying professionalism toward their scheduled clients in the CHOICE” Program Nicole, Speech Therapist. Made sure that the service of speech were available to all needing it.provision Clint, MDS. When assisting me with my medicine? Maintained the same medical professionalism as his working colleague. Both Eric, Maintenance Dir., and Lester, Housekeeper Supervisor of the Maintenance Dept, aided me with any concerns that I had. The Laundry staff: Lena, Shaunna & Jayla, took care of my clothes, and returned them to me in the same fashion they were sent. The Housekeepers; Hilda, Jay, & Veronica, were thorough in maintaining the resident’s rooms. They were observed wiping, sterilizing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, aromatizing the rooms with various scents, replacing the paper towels and toilet accessories when needed. The Social Worker, Cynthia, kept me updated with my insurance requirements. She attended to other residents' needs often as necessary. Domonique, Medical Records Asst, made sure that all weight was maintained, while providing disclosure to those desiring to know their weight. Robb, Activity Director. Provided the residents with useful and meaningful activities for their enjoyment, including snacks, drinks, and special treats in compliance with their diet. Latefa transported me to my medical appointments. Along with Danny, which concluded the appointment transport. Latefa, also sounded her verbal alarm at my delays to any meals or appointments. I've interacted with the residents and their families. Each of them welcomed me into the facility as a member of the (PPN&RF) family. Larry, the Administrator, was observed and heard empowering the (PPN&RF) staff. who raised their decibels enough to be heard to the end of West Hall. Megan, the (PPN&RF) Administrator in Training, fosters a warm professional and family environment around the (PPN&RF) facility. RECOMMENDATIONS: Timely raises.
When you need help no one wants to help you I use to love this place but I needed help and I got no help
I have never felt unwelcome at this facility and always greeted with smiles and happy residents usually playing BINGO or similar, and it looks like some new thing are happening 👷 Can’t wait to see all the updates. 🎉
Please do not allow your love ones here. I lost my loved one due to neglect. When taken to the ER he was malnourished, septic, needed 4 blood transfusions from a bed sore the size of a man's fist, and 6 weeks of antibiotics.
