I’m absolutely disgusted with how this facility handled my grandmother’s passing. After her death, they continued pulling money from her account — knowing she was gone. That’s not just unethical, it’s theft. No answers, no accountability — just silence and stolen money. It’s sickening to see a place trusted with elder care behave like this. Watch your loved one’s finances closely if you still choose to trust them
Love volunteering here and the life engagement director Lisette is so nice and welcoming.
We have volunteered here several times now and the entire staff is pleasant to work with. Lissette, who is in charge of activities, always has something fun going on for the residents. Looking forward to going back to see all the great folks here!
My company Comfort Heart Hospice had the honor of sponsoring an event at Saddlebrook Oxford in Frisco and they are a top notch facility here in Frisco! Lissette, the Lifestyle Activities Director, and their entire team were so welcoming and wonderful with all of the residents. There were so many happy, smiling faces during our ice cream and dancing time! I can't wait to go back and support this amazing facility again!
I am a volunteer at this facility when I have the time. My wife works here as the activity director. There are so many hardworking women at this facility that it is truly inspiring and humbling to see. I help with activities and in decorating the dining room amongst whatever else I can help with. Sometimes I have been dressed up in a costume. It's very fulfilling to see genuine smiles from the folks that live here. I would definitely recommend people bring their families as they are treated with respect and dignity. This location has been going through many changes and it has been getting much better in all aspects. I want to continue to bring smiles and memories although I play a small part. Thank you all for what you do!
I'm a physical therapist and I can tell you that when my husband was there the administration and the quality of care was extremely poor. I've heard that they have all new stuff and administration now so it may be completely different. I can only give you my experience. I would make sure that there is an individualized plan of care that is being implemented by the staff. Anyone thinking to place their loved one should have a camera in their room and they need to be there frequently to make sure that their loved one is getting the care they need no matter where that is. Families also need to know their rights that sedation is not the first course of action when someone is in memory care and they're having a met needs which are labeled as behaviors. I would also encourage families to educate themselves about dementia, and the specific dementia their loved one has and not to feel coerced into doing something because that's what someone says needs to happen. People with dementia and their representative still have rights.
