Irene told me that I was not authorized to visit mom inside her private house, while mom was near her death. The judge granted an emergency order and appointed an attorney for mom. Irene denied the court appointed attorney for mom, access into her private house to visit with mom. The judge, for a 2nd time, instructed Irene to allow mom's attorney to enter her private house. Beware, mom passed away inside Irene's private house. Shortly before mom's death, my brother prepared a fake Power of attorney POA. Safe Haven can only be described as it is named. My loved one moved into Kevin and Irene's home from an assisted living facility. She began needing more one on one care. The physical care that she received was far better than I could have imagined, but even more than that, they provided her with love and a place in their family. The residents sit at the dinner table with the family, they meet each one right where they are physically and cognitively and give them a meaningful place in their family. That acceptance is also given to the residents extended family. What a beautiful blessing it was…

Safe Haven can only be described as it is named. My loved one moved into Kevin and Irene's home from an assisted living facility. She began needing more one on one care. The physical care that she received was far better than I could have imagined, but even more than that, they provided her with love and a place in their family. The residents sit at the dinner table with the family, they meet each one right where they are physically and cognitively and give them a meaningful place in their family. That acceptance is also given to the residents extended family. What a beautiful blessing it was for my loved one to be cared for by this family. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did!
A beautifully kept home! Irene is kind, sweet spirited, and welcoming.

Irene and her family have made every resident feel like family in the home. It's clean, neat and spacious for the residents. There are dogs that allow for unconditional love and attention, that can be therapeutic. Irene makes sure to tend to each residents personal needs and tastes, and family and community agencies are welcome anytime to visit. Irene and her spouse make sure to plan healthy and delicious meals for their residents and include them during meals. Residents are encouraged to participate in crafts, projects, outings, and listen to music played in their living room or through sound system in the home. I will always recommend Irene and the Safe Haven home for a loved one!
I was so fortunate to find a caring place like Safe Haven Care Home. Irene and her family treated my mother like one of their own. The personal attention she got was over the top, this care facility was a Godsend. Irene had my mother participating in activities like gardening, building small bird houses, puzzles, baking, different arts and crafts which helped her general health improve. They had some very considerate dogs that loved on mom and mother loved them back. My mother enjoyed Kevin's (Irene's husband) cooking, especially his chili. You cannot find better care for your loved one than with Irene and her family at Safe Haven Care Home.
My Aunt was in the care of Irene at Safe Haven Care during her final months and she was the happiest I had seen her in years. She was well cared for and received positive feedback in activities in the home that made her feel a family atmosphere. Wish I had had Irene for my mom prior to her death.
Safe Haven has been a Godsend for our family. My mother’s care has been outstanding and she is thriving in her new environment. We feel blessed to be part of the Safe Haven family!
Irene has done a phenomenal job caring for her residents. She is compassionate, caring, and treats everyone as if they were her own family member. I would highly recommend her personal care home.
