Our close family friend was a resident at Shenandoah Villas for quite some time. He was well cared for by all the staff members and enjoyed his time there. The family owned and operated business is unique in that residents are treated like extended family. Their combined experience is extensive and is shown on a daily basis by their excellent care and compassion. The meals that are served are completely homemade, healthy and nutritious; you won’t find processed foods here. Whole foods with protein, vegetables and fruits are on the daily menu. I came to learn that the owner, Zalina, built this facility from the ground up nearly 30 years ago. It’s no accident that Shenandoah Villas has been in business for that many years.

My grandmother lived at Shenandoah for 3 years before we moved away in 2023, and it truly was a wonderful place for her to stay. The staff were incredibly kind, and the facility was a very homey space. The food catered perfectly for her dietary necessities. The staff never missed a moment with her medication, and she always smelt clean when I came to visit. On the year we were handling her leave, they threw a big birthday party for her 87th. We’ve never experienced unsanitary conditions here nor neglect at this small home. The staff truly connects with their residents, and cares for them however they need. We will miss you guys, Thank you, Karen, Sherry, Sean, and Zalina!

After looking into other places for my mother to live in the Austin area, my brothers and I feel very lucky to have found Shenandoah Villa Assisted Living for her. The staff give her expert care and personal attention - paying close attention to her medications and needs. All the staff are very friendly, observant, caring and skilled. It is a relatively small facility and I see that every resident receives the best, most personal care - they know their residents! The home cooked meals are freshly made with healthy and tasty ingredients and my mother loves them. The facility is clean, bright…

Zalina, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the business of assisted living and in working with people - she and all the staff are warm hearted and caring. My mother has lived at Shenandoah Villa for 2 years now and we continue to be happy and thankful that our mom lives there.

My family had the most wonderful caring experience at Shenandoah villa, my mother lived there for about 4 years and she was very happy, the staff was very attentive, kind professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of my mother's needs. The environment was always extremely clean any time of the day or night my family would drop by and my mother was clean, well fed and medical care attended to. The food at this facility was always fresh and prepared daily by staff. The menu was designed for all needs and very delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing somewhere nurturing for there loved ones.

We love Shenandoah. This facility was highly recommended to us by good friends whose father lived there three + years and they had no complaints. My mother-in-law is well taken care of and we are very satisfied with the staff, service and care provided. It is a great family atmosphere. We visit several times a week and have never experience unsannitary or neglect. We are also very happy with the cleanliness of the facility.

DO NOT send a loved one to live here. They will only be treated “well” if they are completely independent and need zero assistance- meaning don’t bother the unprofessional staff that sits in the recliners with their feet up watching television. They put my grandmother to bed at 4:00pm and she was not checked on until 7:30am. The door was shut and she was left in soiled clothes and depends. The nurse made decisions to discontinue certain prescription medications and then would put my grandmother on multiple over the counter medications with ZERO oversight from the PA or doctor. They took her soiled sheets and clothes and threw them into the bathroom. They have zero empathy, and just want the monthly payment. But what are you paying for? Neglect. My grandmother is now moved to another care facility as of Saturday and is still trying to regroup from a very weakened state. She was left with severe irritation to her buttocks due to neglect of care- she was not changed or cleaned properly, if at all. She unfortunately has memory loss and cannot speak for herself but her mental and emotional health rapidly declined which continued on to affect her physically as a 92 year old woman. The facility owner Zalina, and her staff of family members have not given the care they have promised to our loved ones.

Top notch staff. They were able to give me all the information I needed and were so helpful and compassionate about.

Our experience with Shenandoah, a family owned and operated business, was fantastic. Our loved one received top notch care during her stay there. The staff was very attentive, friendly and interacted well with all residents. Medications were always administered with care and accuracy. The meals were fresh, hot and home-cooked with fresh fruit & vegetables and they cater to special dietary needs. The overall atmosphere is very structured each day and family oriented. Shenandoah is quaint, clean with a pleasant aroma throughout and is conveniently located in Cedar Park. We recommend for short or long-term care needs. Zalina is very experienced in running an assisted living business.
