The Simpsons place is very disrespectful to military men ,I've been here 2 weeks, all the tech and some of the nurse are very disrespectful, they made me feel I'm not worth to take care of ,like I'm a nobody,I injured my back when I was in the air Force,I was a parachute jumper, went to dessert Storm, injured my spine, so about two weeks I feel off my house because of my spine,so I rushed to the hospital ,,I had to have surgery,so surgery went great this was 2 months ago,so they sent me to Simpson place for rehab, the first Saturday I got there ,they started not to help me ,one day I had to go to the restroom really bad I've waited over 34 minutes,so I couldn't wait longer so i was gonna get off the bed ,but didn't make it ,I feel hit the floor and hit my back on the bed frame, since that happened,I've been getting yelled at haven't been helping me of the bed ,I sometimes have to make my own bed throw my own urine early in the morning at 4 o'clock, when it's full , all the tech been bullying me disrespecting me ,don't help me take my bath, this one tech who is ugly to me ,I've reported to the supervisor and that administration, they didn't do anything, so my family is gonna take this to a higher level, sense no one here does nothing about it no one here throws my urine, sometimes I have no water for days showerers 1 time every 2 weeks, my lining is very dirty so I have to change it my self I've taken pictures me making my bed throwing my own urine away meds not giving on time ,I'm gonna report this to the news how this place treat Veterans, and my attorney calls it Neglected, so someone better do something about this , they even laugh at me ,and they tell the rest of the patient about me ,I will call the VA about these , I see there's a lot complaints about this place I even caught a tech sleeping in a room , I'm gonna notify the media

Christian Waters is absolutely amazing! You can truly tell how much he cares about his patients and their well-being. He is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to helping others. He goes above and beyond to make sure patients and their families feel supported and heard. He’s truly an exceptional social worker, and his kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed!

Was sent here for therapy from the hospital. Waste of money. The therapists were friendly but they are not staffed enough if patient needs 2 member team and has no equipment for larger patients. Some of the staff is very friendly and helpful, others not so much. They will wake you up in the wee morning hours, like 1am to give you a bedbath. I had to tell the head nurse that under no circumstances is my sleep to be disturbed for a damn bed bath and they complied. When i realized their therapy was not intensive enough, I sought out other rehab facilities to.be transferred to.

I am leaving a one star review here because I picked up a resident from here in my uber (which a nurse called for him). I didn’t realize until he was in my car that he smelled like he was soaked in his own urine. It was incredibly bad. I took him to his destination, because he was going to the hospital, and I did not have the heart to kick him out of my car and send him back with his walker that I had just loaded in my trunk. I couldn’t pick up any more passengers for the rest of the day as I had to get my car seats professionally cleaned. I realize that this is not the fault of the passenger, but of the STAFF who sent this person in my uber in this horrible condition. If this was the way they are sending people off, I can only imagine how terrible the living conditions and staff are at this place. I’ve driven many elderly in assisted living situations and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Absolutely all fault of this situation falls on this place and the terrible nurse that called an uber for this person to damage my private vehicle rather than ensure their people are properly cared for.

Unsafe to live. 5 floors with only 1 elevator. They have 2 1 is always out. 2 months this time and 2 more months to be fixed. Serve cold food in dining room. Take 1-3 days for refills. Worse place for anyone to live at. Don’t come here if you don’t have to. Worse decision.

I've called them at least 20 times to check on a friend who lives(ed). Not once have they answered the phone. I'd think long and hard before sending a loved one of mine to this place.

This place was very disappointing. There was no one at the front desk except on the 6th floor, and the building had a bad smell. It took almost two hours for staff to check on my mom, which is unacceptable. The food they were giving out was just plain bread with nothing else. There was only one nurse for the entire floor. Overall, the staffing and conditions were very concerning didn’t have nothing ready. This facility should be shut down and should not be recommended

This is a nice place. The problem that I have is you can push the call button and it takes over 2 hours for them to respond. Terrible customer service.
